Well, we’ll start off the week with another golfing win under our belts, even if it was via a playoff. Lydia Ko did the job for us, so another nice win on the LPGA circuit. Ko is definitely a class act, and it was great watching that playoff, knowing she was a level above Morgan Pressel. Yes, she was four-shots behind at one stage, but the youngster showed great class to get back to joint-leader and eventually take the Swinging Skirts title. She’s already a class act, and there’s going to be much more to come from her over the years, and we can’t wait to watch her.

In the NBA, we have two Game 4s, and a Game 5 to entertain us tonight. Atlanta travel to Brooklyn, Milwaukee head to Chicago and Memphis take the fun trip to Portland. And in the NHL, the Lightning are hosted by the Red Wings, and the Islanders are in Washington in the deciding game of what has been an amazing series. On top of that, a huge game in the English Championship tonight, with Bournemouth hosting Bolton in a match that could decide heads up to the Premiership next season.

So, let’s get right onto the free sports betting tips for April 27th, 2015.

NHL Playoff Betting Tips:

It’s hard to see the Red Wings throwing a 3-2 series lead away against the Lightning, especially at home. Detroit won 4-0 in Tampa in the last match, the perfect result to go into a huge home game. That being said, the series has gone back and forth, up and down, with no side getting a run together. The key factor could be Petr Mrazek, and also the Lightning’s inability to work out how to get past him. Under 5.5 goals looks good here, as the Red Wings will be hoping for yet another shut-out in what would close out the series.

While it’s not Easter, another Easter Epic could be on the cards with the Islands and the Capitals. We’ve had 28 goals in the first 6 games, it’s been a high-scoring, hard-hitting series, and whoever takes tonight’s game is more than worthy of keeping their place in the postseason. The value here is on the Islanders win, as it’s hard to split them, so New York look value as the marginal dogs. In these 50-50 contests, you need to just go with the underdog.

NBA Playoff Betting Tips:

Safe to say Hawks fans are hating their lives right now. Sure, they’re ahead in the series against the Nets, but they’ve been playing like a team that has nothing left after a long season. The Nets have good end-of-season form at home, and there is a big of value of Brooklyn moneyline here to tie the series at 2-2. You might think the Hawks can’t play as poorly for yet another game, but man they have sucked hard and haven’t looked like turning that round.

Chicago are going to wrap up the series against the Bucks tonight. There was a minor blip in the last game, but the Bulls will take it down tonight. There’s no value on the game, with the line at 8.5 points, which is about right.

The Grizzlies will be looking to close out the series 4-0 over the Blazer tonight, but they’ll be doing it without Mike Conley. That might be enough for the Blazers to close the gap to 3-1, the line is a paltry 3 points, so Portland -3 to keep the series alive is what we want to see.

English Championship Betting Tip

Bournemouth vs Bolton

A win here and it’s almost impossible for Bournemouth not to achieve promotion, thanks to a healthy goal difference. They’re going to be full of confidence playing at home, and Bolton aren’t setting the world alight with their results at the moment. Bournemouth are deservedly short-price favourites here, and we can’t see them failing to achieve promotion here, but the price makes them unbackable. What is interesting is that out of Bolton’s last four games, three of them have gone over 2.5 goals. Two of Bournemouth’s last four have gone that way, but their last home game finished 4-2 against Birmingham. Both sides have goals in them, so we’ll take Over 2.5 goals and hope that Adam Le Fondre can keep up his goal scoring antics for Bolton.
