Hope everyone is enjoying their week full of sports.

It’s a tremendous time to be a sports fan especially with the NHL season back in full swing. It’s been an incredible season so far too with a hell of a lot of goals and some great games.

It’s Wednesday which means it’s time to look into the golf.

There are two tournaments this week I’m looking at – the CIMB Classic and the Portugal Masters.

First up the CIMB Classic. Always a tricky event to handicap as it’s co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour as well as the PGA Tour and you never know who is going to sneak in there at the top.

Ryan Moore has won it twice with back to back wins although Justin Thomas was the big winner last year.

I’m placing two bets both to win and E/W. The first is on Kevin Na. I’m digging his form at the moment and I loved the risks he took at the Safeway Open.

I also love any excuse to bet Matsuyama and he’s coming in strong and confident after that big win on the Japan Open. He looks to be in good form and I’m hoping it will last just a little longer.

In the Portugal Masters I only have the one bet which is the Scotsman, Stephen Gallacher. He’s handled this course well historically and I also felt he did really well at the British Masters. His form can be a tad hot and cold at times but I’m going to back him with a quarter unit to win and E/W here.

NHL Betting Picks – October 19th:

With just two NHL games tonight I’ve got just the one bet on which is Leafs/Jets Over 5.5.

This is one of those games where you can argue strongly for either team to win. A large part of that is their offenses and not their defenses. Based on that, you have to think it’s going to be a very competitive and hopefully high scoring games.

CFL Week 18 Betting Picks:

If you’ve been checking out BetCFL.net you’ll know it’s been a good run we’ve been on. I’ve posted the tips here some week but not every week. In both Week 15 and Week 16 we managed to go a whopping 4-0 each week for an 8-0 run. Boy that was nice.

This week we’re going with Tiger Cats/Redblacks Over 52.5 Points. We saw what these two can do last week and although there are a lot of questions over the Tiger-Cats offense at the moment we think they can both go over.

We’re also taking the big points in the Argonauts vs Stampeders game which is Argonauts +16.5. Stampeders will win but you have to think they play a careful game near the end and cautious. That record they are chasing is too good to mess around.

I’m also going with Roughriders -7. I have to – I can’t ignore what Saskatchewan are doing at the moment while Montreal are absolutely brutal.

Finally I’m taking Lions -2. I think the home team do the business here.
