Another week in the golf, another cash!

Unfortunately it was still a losing week, but not anywhere near as bad thanks to that cash and I hope you were following.

At Pebble Beach we had a 1/4 unit to win & E/W bet on Phil Mickelson. If you just followed by PGA Tips last week then it was basically a break even week for you.

This makes it a win every single week of the year thus far for me with the golf tips. Hope to keep that up.

Here’s the betting slip showing that one as I always post these for authenticity and tracking:

Let’s cover all 4 tours this week and grab some wins:

PGA Tour:

The PGA event this week is the Genesis Open. This was previously known as the Northern Trust Open and is commonly referred to as the Los Angeles Open.

I absolutely hate the odds but man I gotta bet Dustin Johnson to win and defend his championship. This is surely a suckers bet at that price and I never usually take it – but hell it’s been awhile since I rooted for him and he really does look a shoe in this week. I’m only risking 1/4 unit on this place though as I hate that freaking price.

I’m going to back Mickelson to keep chugging away and keep his form going. He’s won here previously twice so maybe the trifecta? If he keeps up this pace he can get up there. This is 1/4 unit to win and each/way.

I’m backing Tommy Fleetwood who has his full PGA card now which is nice to see. Going to be an interesting one for him but I think he has the skills to handle this course very well. He seems really suited for it. I’m backing Fleetwood for 1/2 unit to win & E/W.

I’m also doing 1/4 unit bets to win & E/W on Thomas Pieters and Sangmoon Bae.

NBO Oman Open:

I’ve typed “NBA” Oman Open so many times ha. Anyway it’s a new course and tournament and very few of these players have played at this course before so I’m going to throw out a few random bets 1/4 unit to win and each way.

Your call if you want them or not – you could just throw darts at a board and make the same calibre of picks for the most part. I’m taking Ryan Evans, Joost Luiten, Thomas Aiken and Michael Lorenzo-Vera.

Champions Tour:

haven’t had much luck on the Champions Tour although I haven’t paid too much attention to it the last two years. I’m testing the waters again with a small bet on Jesper Parnevik – just a quarter unit to win & E/W.

LPGA:

Last LPGA tournament I tipped I was able to pick the +2800 winner Brittany Lincicome. Can I do it again? It would be nice. I’ve got 3 bets all 1/4 unit to win and each-way which are Ha Na Hang, Hannah Green and Brooke M. Henderson. Brooke is a local gal so always like cheering her on.
