I think the one big thing that needs to be mentioned from the weekend’s sporting action is the 10/1 winner that was tipped on last week for the Hungarian Grand Prix. If you had followed the advice and backed both McLarens to be in the points, you would be in the clover as much as we all were, as Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button both scored. Hopefully, you have been following the free Formula One betting tips, as there have been some great value winners. Our Formula One tipster tends to steer clear of the short-prices, and will always find you a nice juicy bit of value for the upcoming Formula One races, so remember to check in before a Grand Prix weekend to make sure you take full advantage of the big winners. Seriously, 10/1, it was a gift from heaven!

In the golf, Bernhard Langer was seriously unlucky, losing by one stroke in what was a freakish late surge from Marco Dawson. He went through the back nine like a demon. But even teeing off at the last, we thought we were going to get at least a playoff out of this, but Dawson holed out with a birdie and we were left cursing our luck. Of course, it was eased by our Formula One winnings, but that’s not the point.

We’re back to having very little sport around at the moment, but as the days tick by, we’re getting closer and closer to the start of the soccer seasons in Europe, the start of the NFL season, and we always have our MLB to fall back on, like an old faithful friend who is always there.

So let’s get onto the free sports betting tips for 27th July, 2015.

MLB Betting Tips:

We’re off to Texas for our first pick of tonight’s action. This is such an interesting match-up, as you’re looking at two seriously rusty pitchers at the moment, both coming off the DL and struggling to find any consistency. Matt Harrison has two starts recently for the Rangers, giving up 6 against Arizona, then shutting out Colorado over six innings. It’s just not consistent. And opposing him is Ivan Nova, who is back from Tommy John surgery, and in his most recent outing pitched 94 balls, giving up 2 runs against Baltimore. Again, his season is inconsistent. It’s not what either pitcher would want, having to face to hot line-ups. The Rangers are made to face Nova, it would seem, and if the rust if there, he could be scattered all over the park. And the same could be said for the Yankees and Harrison. So this has the look of a high-scoring encounter. Get on over 9 runs, as we’re going to see a great one tonight.

Giants -1.5 is tonight’s other play in the MLB. Why? Kyle Lohse is struggling and he has to face Buster Posey and the rest of the Giants line-up. Not exactly great news for a pitcher with a career ERA of 5.08 against the Giants, and who gave up 5 runs in just over 5 innings against the team at the end of May. If Lohse had found some form of late, maybe it would be close, but he hasn’t. And the Giants also have Chris Heston on the mound who is seriously hot and is looking for three on the bounce. Confidence is high in the Giants team, while the same can’t be said for the Brewers. Teams are struggling to score against Heston right now, they’re not struggling to knock Lohse around, so there is going to be at least two runs separating the sides come the end of the game.
