Welcome to the free sports betting tips for Monday, May 30th, 2016.

Being a huge football fan, I usually hate this time of year, and it’s even worse when there’s no major tournament to get your teeth into during the summer. But for some reason, this weekend has been one of the better ones. We had a boring 120 minutes of Champions League Final to sit through before we got the one thing a neutral fan loves – penalties. And who else could have scored the winner but Cristiano Ronaldo? It was made for him. We also saw Hull get back into the Premiership in another dismal game, beating Sheffield Wednesday in a rather one-sided affair. On Sunday, Barnsley beat Milwall 3-1 to get back into the Championship. And Lewis Hamilton won in Monaco. Rain in Monaco? You’ve got to love it.

But as entertaining as the weekend was, today there is ridiculous action when you consider it’s a Monday. We’ve got the deciding game in the Thunders vs Warriors war of attrition, and we have the first game in the Stanley Cup Final between the Sharks and the Penguins. I mean, seriously? It’s a Monday night and we’re going to have that to keep us entertained, it’s ridiculous, and I’m loving it.

So, let’s get to the free sports betting tips for today, May 30th, 2016.

NBA Betting Tips

The hottest ticket in the world right now is for Game 7 of this amazing series between Oklahoma City and Golden State. When they Warriors looked dead and buried, Steph Curry stepped up and clawed them back into it. There’s a reason he’s back-to-back MVP. But what about tonight’s game? Well, all signs point to Golden State, but it’s more a question of how they win it. When the Warriors have turned up, the games have still been close, but when they haven’t, they’ve been blown off the court. I think they’re going to turn up tonight, as they’re a big-time team, so I like the Warriorws to win here. But by how much? Well, both teams are fully-fit, apparently (or as fit as Steph Curry can be), but the line here is 7 points, and I think that looks to be spot on. Come on, the bookies have had 6 games to get it right, and they’re not going to be far off. However, I think we’re going to see points get put on the back tonight, as both sides know that’s the way they’re going to win it, so take over 218 points.

NHL Betting Tips

So we have the Sharks and the Penguins competing for the Stanley Cup, two sides that are always strong, but have failed to deliver so many times. So, one of them will be hoisting the Stanley Cup above their heads in a short while. But who? It’s gonna be tight, but I’m expecting some classic games, as both sides are going to go for it, and the Sharks will look to end this hoodoo of theirs.

The Penguins are rightly favourites for Game 1, what with it being at home for them. There’s no value play here, as I think the bookies have it right. However, I can see goals tonight, and with the Penguins finding a new trio to get them goals in Bonino, Kessel and Hagelin, as well as the Sharks just scoring goals for fun (14 in their last 3), over 5.5 goals is the only play here. Plus, for a neutral like myself, it’s always better just cheering for goals instead of one side.
