A better outing in the English Championship yesterday. While we went 1-1, our play on BTTS in the Derby vs Sheffield Wednesday game was a 3u play to make it a profit.
I was leaning on the draw on that one but I’ll take any win so not complaining. That one was a bit nerve wracking too as we needed an 82nd minute penalty by Derby for the win.
We had Birmingham to win but that didn’t happen as QPR were able to get 2 goals with 6 attempts. Disappointing one from Birmingham whose finishing was awful in that game.
I’ve been focused a fair bit on the English Championship lately so I figure I’ll keep that going and we’ll look at the games taking place on Saturday, December 12th.
FYI I totally expect Rangers to blow it today.

Brentford vs Fulham Betting Tips:
Brentford currently sit in 7th place in the English Championship battling for a playoff spot, while Fulham are in 3rd place. This should be a good game.
Always a worry in spots like this that teams will play conservative. The the way the league is going, neither team will be able to snap up an automatic promotion spot so points in places like this can be big.
Fulham however have lost two in a row and will be desperate for a win so should be going for it. They’re generally quite decent on the road.
Brentford meanwhile are putting together some good home performances. Their offense is lethal at home and are scoring just under 2 goals per game on average. They do have a good defensive record at home but I think Fulham can score.
Going to split the bets on this one.

Birmingham vs West Brom Betting Tips:
I was extremely disappointed with Birmingham last night and looking back at their performances, I don’t think they’ll have what it takes to stop the excellent West Brom.
West Brom have a 7-3-1 away record which is the best away record in the league so they’ll have confidence here. The joint top team had a poor performance against Wigan yesterday that I am sure they will want to forget about as they drew 1-1 with the 2nd bottom team.
I’m sure Slaven Bilic will read the team the riot act after that one. He even said after the match that they were lucky to escape with a point.
Birmingham have a poor defensive record which could be worse honestly. THey haven’t had a clean sheet in awhile and the offensive firepower of West Brom should be too much for them.
