Great day in the English Premier League as we went 3-0 with the betting tips and it was a fun day of football in general.

It was nice as initially I was going to tip Newcastle too. They were on my short list but then when I relooked at it I decided not to – and that worked out bloody perfectly as they stumbled to a 0-0 draw with Cardiff.

We had Leicester to beat Wolves and they went up 2-0 in the first half. Vardy got sent off but luckily that didn’t change things and they held on for the 2-0 victory. That was a 2u play.

In the Everton game we had two separate plays – a 1u bet on them to win, and a 0.5u bet on Richarlison to score anytime. Both of those came in as Everton won 2-1 and Richarlison scored which was nice to see..

EPL: Brighton vs Manchester United Betting Tips

I really wasn’t impressed with Man Utd in the opening game. I felt they were lucky to get the win over Leicester. Worse was I didn’t think they did that great defensively. They were defending a lead the majority of the game but Leicester were unlucky not to score prior to injury time. De Gea made a few key saves.

It was a bad week last week for Brighton however they’re usually better at home. They performed well there last year.

It’s always tough to bet against a team with the name value of Man Utd, however I do think there is value in it. Brighton had a solid 7-8-4 here last year and were a disaster on the road and it looks to be the same this year.

Double of the Day:

Burnley vs Watford – Under 2.5 Goals: 1.47 odds for this one. Burnley have turned Turf Moor into a fortress and defensively they are looking pretty darn solid. I don’t know if they have the goalscoring power to win this one especially with some fatigue setting in from mid week but I see this one being a quiet affair.

Man City -1: City actually struggled against Huddersfield last season however I do think with City at home and this early in the season they should give Huddersfield a pumping. Last games results have me concerned enough though as Huddersfield came here and got a draw. I’m chucking them in the double instead. Only 1.25 odds for this one.
