A profitable Saturday.
We went 1-2 in the EPL but 2-0 in the SPL with two nice value plays there.
In the EPL I backed Leicester or Draw against Man Utd. With the Pogba injury and others, I just felt obligated to. It really took Leicester time to get into the game and it was disappointing although I do think they could have got the draw.
We also lost with the over in the Brighton/Burnley game. Very disappointing performance from Burnley there honestly. The over came in in the Wolves vs Chelsea game however nice and easy.
The SPL was much better. I risked taking Motherwell at 3.50 odds. They defeated Hearts 3-2 as expected so that was nice. We also had Kilmarnock to win 2-0 and they did so with ease.
I spent a lot of time this week studying the SPL advanced metrics, xG etc etc so I felt really good about both of those coming in. Hopefully that continues.
For Sunday, September 15th there are two games with relatively tight odds that we will look at. Bournemouth take on Everton, and Watford take on Arsenal.
Bournemouth vs Everton Betting Tips:
After a bright start to the season, Bournemouth have been firmly put in their place with losses to Manchester City and Leicester. They will be hoping to bounce back against Everton who have been a bit shaky on the road to start the season. They drew 0-0 with Palace and lost 2-0 to Aston Villa.
Bournemouth are still seeking their first win in the EPL. Offensively they haven’t impressed me at all really. They’ve also got quite a few injuries with the likes of Lewis Cook and Simon Francis and that is hurting them.
Everton will be hoping to be able to take this one. They had two solid performances against Bournemouth last season.
You have to think Everton are able to score. Bournemouth due to the injuries just don’t have the defence. They may struggle to score against Everton who have looked like they may have a solid defence.
A lot of people are expecting goals here but I am not too sure. I think Everton are able to sneak this one.

Watford vs Arsenal Betting Tips:
Watford are still seeking their first win of the season. They stopped a run of three straight defeats with a 1-1 draw away to Newcastle last time out.
Arsenal got off to a solid start before losing to Liverpool and drawing with Tottenham.
Watford sacked Javi Gracia due to their poor start.
I think Arsenal have looked pretty solid overall and unless Quique Sanchez Flores is able to work that new manager magic, it’s going to be a tough day for Watford. Their defensive issues are not something a managerial change will fix and I like Arsenal to get the win here.
