First of all big thanks to Vin for taking care of the tips for the last little while. I was away in Scotland and then had a couple of personal issues so much appreciated to him and now he gets a well deserved break for the next 3 days.

It’s a nice and busy Tuesday too. The Cavs will be hoping to end their 9 game losing streak as they host the Indiana Pacers. Raptors and Hawks square off, Thunder look to bounce back against the Wolves and overall we’ve got a great night of basketball ahead of us.

Let’s see what we’ve got tonight:

Cavaliers vs Pacers Betting Tips:

First I should note that my betting system likes the Pacers to cover the 10.5 point spread however I am going to spit in the face of it and go with the Cavs.

Pacers are coming off a loss to the Raptors. Funnily enough the last time they lost to the Raptors was December 19th and the night before they lost to the Cavs. Weird how things work.

Cavs seem at breaking point. Just watching all the media you can see they really want to shake things up. There’s always a point in a losing streak where a team just gets it all together and I’m hoping tonight is the night.

Cavs last win was against the Pacers in Indiana and you’ve got to think that sort of thing will give them confidence. They know they can beat the Pacers and I’ve got to think they’ll push them to the limit.

I should note very few of the stats go towards the Cavs. I mean they’re 6-11 as a home underdog while Pacers are 5-3-1 as a road favourite. It’s just one of those games where I think the Cavs will surprise and will fight to the end and while I don’t think they will win, they will do enough to cover the point spread.

Heat vs Nuggets Betting Tips:

Heat come into this one off a big loss to the atlana Hawks and I like them to bounce back here. They have been pretty solid on the bounce back this season.

Nuggets just had a tough game against Houston and the Heat will be well rested for this one. Nuggets are also missing Will Barton which is a decent enough loss.

I like the Heat to beat a tired Nuggets team down the stretch here.

Those are the only two tips I will go with tonight. I am very tempted with the Phoenix Suns however Devin Booker being injured again is just enough to put me off. Even if he does play he won’t be at full strength and that’s an issue.

BTW a quick note I will get all our stats updated soon. Just been absolutely swamped the last couple of months and the Scotland trip didn’t help. I currently have that penciled in for this weekend.
