I covered a couple of Saturdays MLS games yesterday and then it got me in the mood to watch the MLS on Friday night. Was actually planning on an early night too ha but the DC United vs Revolution game hooked me. That was a cracker with Quincy Amarikwa scoring in the 86th minute to tie it up after DC were 2-0 down. Always love when a red card changes the flow of a game.
LAFC bounced back from 1-0 down to win 3-1 away and continue their extremely impressive performances. Poor Houston – conceding that goal just before half time completely turned the game around.
It was a similar game too with Galaxy vs San Jose in that the Galaxy went up 1-0 early then lost 3-1. That was a fun one to watch as San Jose had 32 shots with 16 on target. Crazy game.

Seattle Sounders FC vs Atlanta United Betting Tips:
Seattle are currently 3rd in the Western Conference as of this writing and looking good for a play-off spot although it’s still early days. Atlanta United are in a similar performance as 3rd in the Eastern Conference.
Seattle will be glad to be back home after a tough run of games where they played 6 of their last 7 games on the road. There was some struggles there with a three game losing streak in it that only that home game against Vancouver broke it.
Atlanta have been terrible away lately and this will be a tough one. Seattle are excellent at home and put on a defensive clinic here as well. They have one of the best defensive records in the league and that’s due to their home games.
I’m taking Seattle to keep up their impressive home form.

New York Red Bulls vs New York City FC Betting Tips:
Thse two teams are quite close in the league with NYC FC in 5th and the Red bulls in 6th, one point behind. It should be noted however that the Red Bulls have played two more games than New York City FC.
Should be a good one between these local rivals. New York City were on an excellent run of form with some very impressive victories both home and away before a tight 1-0 loss to Portland. That was a franchise best run as they went 12 games unbeaten. The Red Bulls have been a bit inconsistent lately with just one win in their last four games but have an excellent home record. They had that thrilling 6 goal game against Atlanta last Sunday.
I always like to back against a team when they are just coming off a winning run and this one is no different. New York City have been exceptional no doubt on the back of a solid enough defence but the Red Bulls are no slouch either.
It’s a close game but with the confidence sapped, I’m taking the Red Bulls here.
