Well the MLS was a bust on the weekend unfortunately as we went 2-4.
Friday was a perfect 2-0 day. We had NYC FC to win and they did so with a solid 3-1 victory over Sporting KC. We also had LAFC to win and BTTS in their game with Atlanta United. that was a 7 goal thriller that LAFC came out winners in, 4-3.
Alas, Saturday didn’t go as well. We had a 0.5u play on New England vs Orlando City and it didn’t pan out as the Revolution won 4-1. We had a confident play on Dallas to beat Real Salt Lake but that one ended 0-0.
We had Draw or Galaxy against Porland but the Timbers looked excellent in that game and got a big 4-0 win.
We also had Houston to beat Seattle but the Sounders won that one 1-0. Surprised to see Houston lose on the road there. They looked good but just couldn’t get it going. Seattle scored with their only shot on the net.
Oh well we had been on a huge winning run going into Saturday so it is what it is.
That and Rory’s collapse on Sunday in the golf made for a rather depressing betting weekend!
There’s Brazilian Serie B action on Tuesday and that’s a league I always enjoy doing stats based picks on so let’s get to it:
Bragantino vs Cuiaba Betting Tips:
Bragantino are top of Serie B and looking great at the moment. They have almost perfect home form with 16 points out of 6 games. The best offense in the league and the best defensive record with just 5 goals conceded in 12 games.
I was worried they might be slipping as they had those back to back games without awin where they lost to Parana and drew with Oeste. However they’ve turned it around and looked good in their 1-0 win over Vila Nova.
Cuiaba of course are no slouches and will be up for this game. 4 games without a loss in a row, two excellent 1-0 victories away. I just feel Bragantino are leaps ahead of them and I’d be very surprised if they can pull off something here. Props to them if they do.

Atletico Goianiense vs Operario PR Betting Tips:
This is very similar to the above game honestly where you have one team who is the better side, struggled a little bit over 2 games but have turned it around. And they’re going up against a team who have recently discovered a burst of form as Operario PR are moving up the table with 4 games without a defeat.
They even ended their losing run away with a 1-1 draw against Sao Bento.
Still, I think Atletico Goianiense are just too strong for them. Both teams are pretty solid defensively so it should be a low scoring game but I think Atletico Goianiense will pip them here.
