Last night saw one of the craziest endings to a game seven in NBA history as Kawhi Leonard hit the bounciest shot to win the game as time expired. This was the first shot at the buzzer to win the game in Game 7 of the NBA Playoffs in history. That’s pretty crazy to think about it and it was a huge win for the Raptors franchise. I couldn’t help thinking after this game how some people were so upset that the Raps traded DeMar DeRozan for Kawhi Leonard. I think all of those people are pretending they didn’t do that right now. With whatever happens with Kawhi this offseason, this team is in the Eastern Conference Finals right now and I’m not sure you could say that without that trade.

The other game seven saw the Blazers pull of a huge road win to win the series. They now face the Warriors in the Western Conference Finals. That series starts tomorrow and it will be very interesting to see how these teams match-up with Kevin Durant on the shelf. It’s just going to be the two amazing guards against the other two amazing guards. Should be a really fun series.

MLB Betting Tips:

Los Angels Angels at Minnesota Twins: You may be surprised to learn that the Twins have been the best team in baseball to start the season, I know I was and I watch this stuff every day of the year. I really have to like them in today’s game against the Angels. Jose Berrios is on the mound and he has been the ace that was promised thus far this season with a 2.53 ERA/3.47 FIP on the year. He goes against Tyler Skaggs who has been solid, but the Twins have been one of the best hitting teams against left handed pitchers on the year with a huge .496 slugging percentage.

Bet Twins -135

Oakland Athletics at Seattle Mariners: Mike Fiers is coming off a complete game no-hitter, but he still has a 5.48 ERA/4.94 FIP on the year. He’s a low strikeout guy and the long ball has been a problem. I am not expecting a repeat performance here and I think the Mariners can hit him hard here. Yusei Kikuchi has a 3.54 ERA/3.51 FIP on the season and I think he represents a nice value here.

Bet Mariners -121

NHL Betting Tips:

St. Louis Blues at San Jose Sharks: The first game of this series saw the Sharks dominate with a 6-3 victory. That feels to me exactly how this series is going to go. The Blues were lucky to get this far as they nearly blew things in the series with the Stars, not protecting their home ice, and the Sharks just seemed better equipped for this. The Sharks are a veteran-laden team who really want this and have the talent to get there. I think the Sharks are the team that is going to the Stanley Cup Finals and I like them to build a 2-0 lead here.
