A 1-1 day yesterday with the soccer tips.
I backed Doncaster vs Shrewsbury to be a draw. I thought Shrewsbury would be able to register a goal in that game and if they had, I think both teams would have settled for a draw. Alas it was an absolutely piss poor performance from Shrewsbury who registered a grand total of 3 shots – none of which were even on target. Brutal. Doncaster ran out 2-0 winners.
We won with Real Zaragoza beating Sporting Gijon. I felt that they would be able to get the win despite missing some players and they did so with ease, with a nice 2-0 victory.
We’ll have a look at the Serie A action taking place on Saturday, January 11th and then over the next two days I’ll cover the English action.
Inter Milan vs Atalanta Betting Tips:
So this is an interesting one.
Sometimes when watching football you just get a “feeling” about a teams next game. Watching that Inter win on the weekend that I tipped, I had that feeling. I had a feeling that they would mess up on their next game. That was without even knowing they had up next. Who they are facing makes it even more interesting.
They are facing Atalanta, who are in 5th place and a quality team. These two teams haven’t played this season. Inter struggled with them yhe year prior with a 0-0 draw and a 4-1 loss.
However while I was all ready to back at least a draw here, I just can’t ignore the odds on Inter Milan.
I’ve watched a lot of their games this season and they are just a complete top quality team. Atalanta are solid of course. 5 wins, 3 draws and just the 1 loss away. Although they have struggled a bit recently on the road. They bounced back after that Bologna loss with 5-0 thumpings of Parma and Milan to boost them to the top of the offensive charts.
When getting coinflip odds on a team as high quality as Inter Milan, I’ve just got to back thta every time.

Lazio vs Napoli Betting Tips:
Napoli come into this one struggling after a bad run. They’ve actually performed better away than home recently although their overall away form this season is average at best.
Lazio are on an incredible winning run. They are looking to notch their 10th win in a row here. They’re just 6 points behind Inter and Juventus with a game in hand so the dream is still alive. They boast the 2nd best defense in the league and the 2nd best offense – which was the best up until Atalantas recent 5-0 back to acks.
Lazio will be missing Lucas Leiva and Luis Alberto via suspension but I still think this team has what it takes here to get the win.
