Well that wasn’t too shabby with my trip to Washington – only missed the one day of soccer tips!
I always forget how hard it is to recover from a trip. This was technically just a one day trip – I was in Washington from 9am Wednesday until 12pm Thursday. However I traveled up to Toronto the night before due to the early flight, then had to travel home Thursday.
I live about 3 hours away from Toronto so it ends up being a lot of travel that day. I came home last night at 6pm and was absolutely shattered. I was hoping to do tips. Instead I just ordered food then went the hell to bed ha. And slept for about 10 hours.
I’ll cover the Scottish Premier League action taking place over the weekend. Both Rangers and Celtic, after their European games, won’t play until Sunday. Those are always tricky ones anyway trying to tip Rangers and Celtic games. Plus with the European action I’ll just focus on the games taking place Saturday.

Aberdeen vs Hibs Betting Tips:
Aberdeen were absolutely atrocious last week. If you follow the Modern Fitba newsletter you’ll know that they even got off lightly – it should have been a much bigger victory for Rangers.
They’ll be hoping to bounce back against 2nd bottom Hibs this week. Aberdeens main issue is when teams press and play high up like Rangers do. They really struggle and concede a lot of goals that way.
Luckily for them Hibs aren’t very good at that. Hibs concede a lot of chances and I think Aberdeen will be motivated for this game. Hibs will be feeling good at that point against Celtic but I like Aberdeen to get the win here.

Hearts vs Kilmarnock Betting Tips:
Hearts drew 0-0 with St Mirren last week while Kilmarnock drew 0-0 with Ross County. Kilmarnock are 2 points ahead of them in the league with neither team really looking good.
This is a tight, tight game. I don’t think Kilmarnock win. Hearts are probably slight favourites but I also think they cancel each other out. Neither team really has an advantage here.

Motherwell vs St Mirren Betting Tips:
Motherwell are third in the league while St Mirren are 10th. St Mirren are still failing to get the goals despite the fact that they have the 4th best xG record in the league. They get the chances but just can’t finish them. If they had a solid striker they’d be a contender.
I’m getting tired of waiting for St. Mirren to get the goals going. I think there’s a very good chance that in the next few games something gives and they start banging them home. Just hope this isn’t that game.

Ross County vs St Johnstone Betting Tips:
St Johnstone are dead last and are the only team not to win a game in the SPL.
They could be a surprise contender here. They’re another team that can create the chances but just can’t finish them. And they are conceding way too many than usual. They’re a team that will likely start winning soon.
However I’m going to back the draw in this one.
