The UEFA Champions League continues on Wednesday, September 18th and I’ll be covering betting tips for it in this article.

If you are reading this early enough, I’ve already covered September 17th and the action taking place on Tuesday.

Much like that post, I’ll give a couple of tips of games I like and then cover the rest with smaller plays.

More than anything I do that just to get me more interested in every Champions League fixture. Part of why I started this website honestly – it encourages me to keep up with all the leagues etc.

Let’s get on with the fixtures taking place on Wednesday:

Olympiakos vs Tottenham Betting Tips:

It’s been an inconsistent start for Spurs in the EPL. They went three games without a win(granted draws against City & Arsenal) before thumping Palace. Olympiakos have started their season off with 3 clean sheets and 3 wins domestically. They also had a 4-0 win against FC Krasnodar at home in the playoffs then won 2-1 away.

Throughout the qualifiers their defence really held up. Granted going against Spurs is a little bit more difficult than facing FC Viktoria Plzen.

Spurs have a pretty lethal counter attack so my biggest concern is Spurs getting an early goal, then punishing the Greek side repeatedly with that. However with tentative starts and with the defence looking good, I’ll go with a low scoring game.

2u on the Under 2.5 Goals. 1.90 odds, back it at https://www.Bovada.lv

Dinamo Zagreb vs Atalanta Betting Tips:

So cool seeing Atalanta in the UEFA Champions League. They’ve never played here before.

It’s been a rocky start to the season for them with two close wins over SPAL and Genoa and a loss at home to Toronto.

The big thing for me is Dinamo Zagreb already have a lot of games under their belt, and their experience here. Making your debut in the Champions League is no joke.

Another one where I glanced at it yesterday and the odds have went down. I placed this bet yesterday at 1.76 odds but it’s dropped a bit now so your call if you want to take it. I’ll advise a lesser unit play than what I backed.

2u on Dinamo Zagreb or Draw. 1.66 odds, bet the Champions League at https://www.Bovada.lv

Other Games:

All 0.25u plays unless stated otherwise.

Shakhtar vs Man City: There’s some games you just don’t think too hard about, such as that Leicester or Draw bet on the weekend even if it didn’t pan out. City were humiliated in the EPL and they are out for blood. Handicap betting is always a crazy thing and Shakhtar are no pushover but I’m fine with a small bet here for value. City -2, 2.87 odds. I won’t be surprised if I end up not regretting betting more on that.

Club Brugge vs Galatasaray: Odds for this one seem about right. I see Brugge being the better team here. However teams are slow to start in the Champions League. I really want to bet the draw here funnily enough but I think Brugge are the right bet. They’re the better team. I’ll be regretting not backing the draw. Brugge to win, 1.90 odds.

Atletico Madrid vs Juventus: One of the big games of the day. I was going to go with BTTS at 2.00 odds but considering a likely result is 1-1 and how evenly matches they are, I’ll back the draw instead at 3.10 odds.

Bayern Munich vs Red Star: Munich are ridiculous favourites here at 1.062 odds no surprise. They’ll walk this group no doubt but I enjoy cheering the underdogs. BTTS, 2.62 odds.

Bayer Leverkusen vs Lokomotiv Moskva: Tricky, tricky group for Leverkusen and they absolutely need a win here. Domestically they haven’t been doing too great and just got thumped by Dortmund. I’m going to go with Over 2.5 goals here at 1.72 odds. 0.5u bet.

PSG vs Real Madrid: A sloppy start to the season for Real Madrid. PSG have been quite solid. I can’t pick a side here. I’ll take the draw at 3.60 odds.
