I’ll be honest – I am really not feeling the UEFA Nations League this go-around.
I had a lot of fun with it last year but just with COVID – it makes things a bit bloody messy. You have leagues that haven’t even startd yet and all that.
However it also bothers me that I haven’t had much to write about on here and I’d like to try and get back in the routine.
So I thought I would at least take a look at some of the key games taking place in the UEFA Nations League on saturday. I’ll maybe cover Sunday ones too time dependent.
We’ll just go small bets though as these are nothing more than casual bets. With no Euro 2020 taking place it’s not like we even have a lot of form or anything to go by.

Iceland vs England Betting Tips: No surprise England are heavy favourites here. They were fantastic in the qualifiers for Euro 2020. Iceland were really poor in the Nations League last year. I was impressed by England last year. Of course they are missing so many players like Rashford and Henderson. I’ll go with England -1.5 at 1.72 odds. I bet that a few times last year and profited from it so happy to go with it again.
Denmark vs Belgium Betting Tips: Belgium are 1.75 favourites here. Denmark were solid last year in the Nations League but Belgium are a bigger contest than the likes of Wales. Belgium just drip talent and their squad looks stacked here. I’m good with 1u on Belgium at 1.75 odds and it’s very tempting to go more.
Portugal vs Croatia Betting Tips: Portugal were impressive last year. They also field a strong squad here with Ronaldo who is looking to get goal number 100 for the national side. Croatia meanwhile are missing the likes of Modric and Rakitic. That’s though but they do still have a solid line up. I will take Portugal to win at 1.90 odds.
Macedonia vs Armenia Betting Tips: I liked Macedonia last year and their Euro 2021 qualifiers. They looked very solid with some great attacking play. Armenia have been poor. Macedonia are one of those teams that really seem like up and comers. I’m good to bet North Macedonia to win at 1.70 odds.
