Group F in the 2014 World Cup has the final group games taking place on June 24th, 2014.
Iran will face off against Bosnia, while Argentina take on Nigeria.
Argentina have already qualified in the World Cup, although not in the impressive fashion people expected. They defeated Bosnia but Messi had probably the worst half of his career, and that game was thanks to an early own goal that really messed up the Bosnian game plan.
Next, they played Iran and despite the quality in the Argentinian offense they could barely break down Iran. It took some ridiculous Messi Magic late on to do the business.
Nigeria have had a bit of a quiet World Cup. They drew 0-0 with Iran and squeaked the 1-0 victory over Bosnia. Now they go into this game against Argentina knowing qualification is a strong possibility – but not 100% yet.
2nd place, a draw will be enough to see them through. Even if they lose, Iran also have to win – and it’s really tough to see Iran scoring. Bosnia are a quality team too so it’s going to be a tough one for Iran.
Of course with goal difference key, the last thing Nigeria want is to lose by a margin of 2 or more. So it makes for quite an intriguing game. Will Argentina throw in the same weak performance we’ve seen in their prior two games? Or do they, much like Brazil, come out firing on all cylinders for this match?

The win market is quite weak. I’d normally say Argentina 8/15 is a good price. But the way they’ve played the World Cup so far – not really.
I wouldn’t fault anyone for making that bet of course. But I’d personally be staying away from it.
Instead I like Under 2.5 goals at almost evens.
Nigeria have just one goal to their name. They will be looking at defending in this game, knowing a draw is good enough for them to go through. Argentina have shown that they find it tough to break down a defense.
Even if Argentina get a goal – it’s hard to see them getting multiple goals. Nigeria know goal difference could be key, so the last thing they want to do is concede a ton.
The only thing that will upset this is if Argentina get an early goal. However I don’t think that’s going to happen.
With Argentina not looking great on attack yet, Nigeria not looking good either – it’s hard to see either team scoring goals. based on the previous games, Under 2.5 goals is a fantastic price at almost evens.
