NBA betting tips for November 3rd, 2023.

3-2 last night Patreon.

W Sixers -8.5
L Jazz -1
L Joel Embiid Over 28.5 Points
W Jakob Poeltl Over 18.5 Points/Rebounds/Assists
W Victor Wembanyama Over 25.5 Points/Rebounds/Assists

Jazz lose by two. I saw some books had Jazz +2 so hopefully that was yours.

Embiid lands right at 28 points. Wembanyama posts a 38/10/2.

Two games and four player props. As a reminder I am betting games at 0.5 units and props at 0.25 units for the time being.

Dallas Mavericks at Denver Nuggets Betting Tips:

The undefeated Mavs head to face the defending champions. Of course, the Mavs schedule has been pretty soft thus far and this is the best team they’ve played by a mile this season.

Luka has been awesome and he’s had some big games against the Nuggets in the past. They’ve scored 125+ in three games this year.

Denver has three games scoring 110+ and I expect the Mavs to push the pace in a way they haven’t had to thus far.

This game will be on national TV so I expect both teams to bring it. Three of four games between these two last season went over.

Mavericks/Nuggets Over 225.5

Memphis Grizzlies at Portland Trail Blazers Betting Tips:

These are two of the three worst teams in Offensive Rating this season. Memphis has to be getting desperate for a win at 0-5 while the Blazers are trying to grab all the home wins they can.

The Grizzlies have three games under 219. The Blazers offense has three games scoring under 100 which is wild in this environment.

Grizzlies/Blazers Under 220.5

NBA Player Props Betting Tips:

Andrew Wiggins Over 12.5 Points: Wiggins is playing a career low minutes per game and career low points per game right now as the Warriors are figuring things out after adding Chris Paul to the mix. Despite that, his scoring should start going up. He’s gone over in two of his last three games, and he should start hitting more threes going forward.

Julius Randle Over 30.5 Points/Rebounds/Assists: He’s yet to break 20 points in a game this season, but has hit this over in three games. I think he should score better tonight as the Bucks defense has been very shaky to start the season.

Tyus Jones Over 19.5 Points/Rebounds/Assists: This is a tricky one as Jordan Poole is actually the top overall system play today. That’s because when he is on the floor, he’s taking all of the shots. That hasn’t worked for the Wizards of late and he hasn’t seen much of the floor.

Jones should be the beneficiary of that as the offense flows better without him. He’s hit this in three of four games this season with the only miss being a blowout loss where he played just 22 minutes.

I’ll note here the system also likes Kuzma’s point total, but with Jimmy Butler on the floor I think I’ll pass. Jones has a clearer path to success with Lowry or Herro guarding him.

Shaedon Sharpe Under 33.5 Points/Rebounds/Assists: Taking a shot at my first player under of the year. This one just seems out of wack thanks to his last game against the Pistons where he went for 29/7/5.

However, his other games haven’t been all that close to this. He has one that landed at 31 PRA (in 41 minutes) and the other three are 27 and under. The Blazers, as a team, have been pretty low scoring overall as I mentioned above.
