A nice win last week in the RBC Heritage with Webb Simpson winning.
I had backed him the week before however it seemed it took him a week to get going. I’m glad his weak performance the week prior didn’t put me off him for the RBC Heritage although it did cause me to go with just 1/4u on him.
So I was going to do tips for the Travelers Championship. I sat down today and I started doing all my work when I heard about people having to pull it due to COVID-19.
I then heard that the PGA had a news conference at 2pm and the word was everything was going to be canceled. So I put the tips on hold. Turns out they are still going ahead with it but I got super busy and never really got to do tips.
It’s like 11:30pm here and the tournament starts in 7 hours so I’m not going to bother with tips this week unfortunately. Apologies.
It was interesting seeing some of the golfers I tipped from last week performing well this week too such as Ryan Palmer. He was 80/1 the prior week and I backed him and then here he ends up tied for 8th. Or Harris English who was 66/1 and ended up tied for 17th.
Just kind of neat to see. I was feeling a bit down after the Charles Schwab results but I think we can put that down to just a bit of rust.
