We are coming off a very hot week in the golf, with a huge 40/1 winner at the True Thailand Classic.

Scott Hend was the man who delivered – here’s the betting slip showing that one:

Hope you all enjoyed that nice win!

What’s awesome is I was close to skipping last week. I spent hours studying the Valspar Championship only to have no tips for it and it wore on me. I was ready to skip the Thailand Classic but decided ah screw it let’s do this – and glad I did because we had that massive win!

This week the Champions Tour returns, as does the LPGA after a week break. I’m going to continue to compile tips into the same article for the next little while till I get some work issues sorted out. Probably will do this for another 2 months I expect.

Arnold Palmer Invitational Betting Tips:

Let’s get this one out of the way right now – we’ll throw a quarter unit on Matt Every who has won twice in a row. His form has been average lately and we doubt we see him as a three time winner but we’d be kicking ourselves if we didn’t. Take that to win and E/W.

Same bet on Scott Brown. Brown came 13th here a few years ago and has also missed a cut. Been watching his form though and a 10th place at the Honda Classic as well as a 7th place at the Valspar Championship? He’s capable. Although you may want to place a top 10 finish bet on him at 9/1 instead. We’re a bit undecided as it’s hard to see him beating that top tier and getting in the top 5 but we do like the way he’s heating up.

Jason Kokrak has had some solid form on this course in the past. His form has been a mess lately however we did see that amazing performance at the Northern Trust Open by him. A quarter unit bet on him to win and E/W although we have to admit it’d be a fair surprise.

Finally a quarter unit bet on Henrik Stenson to win and E/W as well. It’d be a tough task for him but he seems to be getting in the groove and I like what I saw from him last week. If his putting can just get better here he should be a contender.

Hero Indian Open Betting Tips:

I’ll be fairly honest – with this field, it’s a bit of a crap shoot.

I’m making 4 quarter unit bets to win and E/W but I don’t feel confident about them. A few stats have stood out to me but that’s it – not doing the research I usually do for this one. It’s more just to have bets on.

The bets are Mithun Perera, Siddikur Rahman, Anirban Lahiri(half unit on that one) and Chiragh Kumar.

And actually a final bet of the same on Prayad Marksaeng.

JTBC Founders Cup Betting Tips:

We’re still seeking a winner in the LPGA this year. So I’m also going to recommend quarter unit bets here while we get things rocking. Although looking back to 2015 we also didn’t get anything till March – and that was the excellent 100/1 Yani Tseng hit. So maybe we need 2 months in the year to warm up.

Going to take Stacy Lewis to win and Pornanong Phatlum to win and E/W.

Tucson Conquistadores Classic Betting Tips:

I’m going with two golfers who have played well so far this year coming into this tournament, and have good history at this course.

Unfortunately with a long break on the Champions Tour, momentum may not be on their side so we will do quarter unit bets on them to win and E/W.

West Short Jr. at 40/1 and Scott Hoch at 110/1.
