Philadelphia Phillies at Miami Marlins Betting Tips:
PHI – Zach Eflin 4.17 ERA/3.68 FIP (2021)
MIA – Pablo López 3.07 ERA/3.29 FIP (2021)
Lopez is a better pitcher than Eflin, but not that much better and in every other category the Phillies look to be the much better team. Better bullpen and much, much better offense.
The Phillies have gotten a good performance out of their bullpen early and the offense has been as good as advertised. While the Marlins have struggled in both areas, especially their offense which has just a 77 wRC+ on the year.

New York Yankees at Baltimore Orioles Betting Tips:

The sportsbooks are so afraid of this park that they just set the total high and hope for the best. They’ve played five home games thus far and are 1-4 Over/Under. They will have plenty of time this summer to get that back to .500, but for now I think the unders are a great value.
The weather is going to help here with winds blowing in tonight and cool temps.
Both of these pitchers looked good in their first start and they both have high groundball rates which always helps in this park. Neither of these offenses is particularly scary to me.

Marco Gonzales had a disastrous first start and struggled last season as well. His strikeout rate is tiny, his homerun rate is high, and the Astros absolutely crush lefties.
Jake Odorizzi won’t need to be perfect here.
