Another thrilling night in the NHL Playoffs.
The New York Rangers, as expected, defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins. However it wasn’t as easy as you’d think – and that series will be very interesting now the first game is out of the way. The Anaheim Ducks came from behind to beat the Winnipeg Jets. And then there were two large upsets – the Minnesota Wild beat the St. Louis Blues 4-2, and the Detroit Red Wings defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning 3-2.
Wild were just the better team in that game and thoroughly deserved the win. Red Wings were very lucky, with a stellar performance by Mrazek to keep the Lightning at bay.
The NBA playoffs begin tomorrow, with 4 games on tap. Wizards vs Raptors, Pelicans vs Warriors, Bucks vs Bulls and Mavericks vs Rockets.
Great time to be a sports fan.

NHL Betting Tips:
We have to go with Montreal Canadiens to beat the Ottawa Senators. The big one here is that the once invincible Andrew Hammond did not exactly look invincible in Game 1. Far from it. And now the Canadiens know they can beat him with ease – well, who knows how many they’ll put past him tonight.
We also like the Canucks to bounce back against the Flames. Canucks seemed a bit shaky out there – their gameplan was off; but we think they can push things together a lot better this time around, and get a much better game out of it. They were all over the place on Wednesday with no rhyme or reason for some of their plays – but we hope to see a better outing this time.
I think we also have to take the Capitals to win. You have to think they’ll be proper motivated for this game and not be as flat as they were last time out. Of course they do have the ablity to totally eliminate themselves from the playoffs! Hopefully they won’t do that though.
UFC on Fox 15 Betting Tips:
UFC on Fox 15 is tomorrow night, and we’ve already got some betting tips for you prior to the weigh-ins.
Should be an interesting card.
The first bet is Felice Herrig +105 against Page Van Zant. Van Zant is young, and is always improving and her game will be coming on leaps and bounds – but Herrig is just way too experienced, and a tremendous fighter. She is so much bigger, and so much stronger, and also better at the striking. This won’t be a walk – but Herrig should be the favourite there.
Also on Machida +140. This fight is pretty much a flip of a coin, and in that situation we’re all over the underdog. You just can’t count out Machida, and Rockhold is not the type of fighter who can really dominate him. Rockhold is great that’s for sure – but Machida has more then enough ability to beat him here. This is a very tough fight for Rockhold.
Man Utd vs Chelsea Betting Tips:
What a game this is.
A win for Manchester United is incredibly important and we saw how they played against Manchester City. They even did the same against Liverpool and Tottenham. They’re willing to throw caution to the wind.
We like two bets on this game. Over 2.5 goals and the underdog bet of Man Utd to win. 10/3 is a HUGE price on that one when 12/5 should be more like it.
