A 3-1 record last night.
The Angels offense really bailed us out after a rough first inning from Shohei Ohtani. He allowed four runs in that first inning, but the Angels offense charged back and got the win. Mike Trout continued his amazing ways with a 4-for-5 night.
The same can be said of the Braves/Cubs game. We had the Braves who came out to a 4-0 first inning lead. They ended up giving it back and this thing was tied 5-5 heading into the bottom of the fifth. We laid the runs so we need some help here and Freddie Freeman came through with a big homerun.
We also got the win in a nail biter as the Athletics took a 2-1 win over the Rays. Our only loss was Corbin Burnes, one of the best pitchers in baseball, getting hit by the Marlins. Sometimes stuff like that happens.

This is a match-up of two pitchers with opposite luck. Civale has outpitched Maeda, but he also has a .177 batting average on balls in play and an 80.8% left on base percentage. That is not going to keep up. The Twins are a much better offense, especially thus far in the season against right handed pitching.
Maeda has a high homerun rate and a .400 BABIP. He’s a lot better than what we’ve seen so far. The Indians offense has been weak and should make him look good here today.
The weather should be nice here as well with winds blowing out to right-center at 10-15 MPH.

The Blue Jays are going with the opener here and that should work out for them. The Nationals offense has been pretty weak to start the season as they are dead last in homeruns with just an 82 wRC+ on the year.
Washington will send Max Scherzer to the mound and you know what you’re getting there. He’s picked up right where he left off with a 1.80 ERA/3.13 FIP thus far this season.
The stadium here gives me a little bit of pause as this game will be in Dunedin, Florida, but I think we see enough strikeouts to minimize that.

This match-up has been good to us so let’s go right back to it.
Jose Quintana had a couple of rough starts to the year, but was able to right the ship last time out against the Rangers. The Texas offense has been below average for the season and has really struggled against lefties in the small sample. Quintana’s strikeout numbers have been there early and the Rangers offense loves striking out.
Mike Foltynewicz is a guy I don’t have a lot of faith in. He has a 5.32 ERA/6.77 FIP thus far on the season and that’s with a low BABIP and a high left on base. The Angels have been crushing it, no reason to stop backing them here.

Dallas Mavericks at Golden State Warriors Betting Tips:
