Good Friday got off to a nice start, as we went 2-1 last night. The Cavs put up for more points than we expected, but we got the goals in the Senators/Canadiens game as the points in the Suns/Warriors game to make sure we got the holiday period off to a fine start.

Just something worth noting that disappoints our horse racing tipster. Traditionally, Good Friday was one of the few days of the year where high-street bookmakers in the UK would be closed and there would be no horse racing. Now there is a full card of horse racing on Good Friday, and sure, he’ll have a bet on it, but it’s one of the traditional things he misses. So he wants us to give a mention to the unfortunate bookmakers that have to go into the likes of William Hills, Ladbrokes and Corals on a day that traditionally they would have off and go and deservedly get drunk.

But enough of the good will towards bookmakers. We’ve got to hit them in the pocket to keep the Easter fund ticking over nicely. So let’s get onto the free sports betting tips for April 3rd, 2015.

English Premiership Betting Tips for 4th March

As always, we’ll get Saturday’s Premiership tips out of the way so you can get involved as soon as possible.

West Brom vs QPR

A win here would be welcome for both sides, but QPR are in dire need. A win for West Brom would go a long way to easing any relegation fears, and with Tony Pullis at the helm, things are looking up for the Baggies. The key here is the defence of West Brom. QPR rely too heavily on Charlie Austin, and the West Brom defence under Pullis don’t concede many goals at all. Add in that Berahino is scoring for fun at the moment, and the signs all point to West Brom here. QPR just don’t have enough up front for us, and with West Brom aroud 4/5, we think that’s a huge price, so get on West Bromwich Albion to win.

Everton vs Southampton

A game that stands out for one reason here – both teams have been a bit inconsistent as of late, especially in front of goal. Southampton aren’t scoring too many, especially Pelle, but then they’re still not conceding many. Everton are almost having the same issue, so all the signs here point to a low-scoring affair. Yes, the reverse this season was 3-0 to Southampton, but that was when they were scoring goals left, right and centre. Now Pelle might have a confidence boost after scoring against England, but we think Under 2.5 goals is the play for this match.

NBA Betting Tips for 3rd April

Charlotte vs Indiana

On paper, a tight game here, with both teams still fighting for a playoff spot, so this match is gonna be crucial. The Pacers won the last meeting 103-102 in Charlotte, but they’re struggling at the moment to find any kind of form, letting teams triple-figure points against them consistently. Not that the Hornets have been too great either, after being thumped recently by the Celtics. The poor Pacers D is the key to this game here for us, and we’re going to look at the points again. 193.5 is the line, and if the Pacers games continue to trend, and if their last meeting is anything to go by, that line should be easily crushed. Take Over 193.5 points in this game.

Portland vs Los Angeles

The Northwest Division might already be secured by Portland, but that’s not going to step them inflicting some hurting on the Lakers. Portland will be wanting home court advantage. Portland have been playing well, although their loss to the Clippers put an abrupt end to their run. The Lakers, well, there’s not much to say about them right now. They’re just been doing what’s expected of them. The line for Portland is 10.5 points, and we think Portland, with something to play for, are going to go for the juggular here, so get on Portland -10.5

NHL Betting Tips for 3rd April

Arizona vs San Jose

At this point in the season, it’s tough to find real value, but we’re loving San Jose here. They’re playing well and doing all they can to get into the playoffs, while Arizona are still wanting the season to end. Arizona can’t score, they have nothing to play for heads are down, so get on San Jose -1.5 in what we’re hoping is going to be a blow out for the Sharks.
