Every goddamn time I write “It’s Friday” I immediately think of that Rebecca Black song.

For as long as I live, I don’t think I shall ever get it out of my head.

Oh well – thankfully it IS Friday, and it’s a GOOD Friday. Not the religious one – but one that is pretty darn awesome because it’s the day before the EPL begins. We’ve been anxiously awaiting the Premier League season return, and are super pumped about it.

Living in North America – we absolutely love getting up at 7am, getting a big breakfast going and then watching soccer all the way through till around 2pm. Throw in a few beers and yep – perfect weekend. Then if we’re lucky there’ll be more sports that night – with UFC a few hours later.

Before we get to that – some updates on the golf. Quite interesting stuff really.

As of this writing – we currently have the leader of the WGC Bridgestone Invitational in Jim Furyk, who was a price of 40/1. Still 2 days left of course but he is looking good at the moment and hopefully it continues.

In the same tournament we also have both Keegan Bradley and Dustin Johnson who are floating around 7th place at the moment – so nice to have 3 live horses in it.

In the Barracuda Championship Andres Romero is +20 and tied for 8th. With the leaders +24 that’s another possible one. Kirk Triplett had a solid -2 day at the Shaw Charity Classic in the Champions Tour – but still 5 strokes off the leaders. Props to Monty for a solid day.

Alright let’s get on with the betting tips:

Barclays Premier League Betting Tips:

This is all we will focus on today.

We are going to take Over 2.5 goals in Man Utd vs Tottenham. De Gea is apparently out, and we saw how shaky Man Utds defense were last season. Sure they could be better this year – but let’s be honest if it wasn’t for De Gea, they would have been insanely bad last season. Both teams are good for goals, and we’re going to go with Over 2.5 goals.

We’re also going to take Everton to beat Watford – only if Lukaku is playing. It’s not 100% yet so we’d hold off for now. If he starts then bet. Watford really shouldn’t break down Everton at all and will want to counter – but Everton will be wary of that.

We’re also going to take Sunderland to beat Leicester at 16/5. Leicester have had a weird Summer with Pearson out and Ranieri in and that decision doesn’t seem to be appeasing people. You have to wonder how troubled they will be. They’re going up against a solid Sunderland team with a few solid signings.

Finally in the Championship we really like Derby to get a big away win over Bolton. 11/10 odds and we think Derby are seriously underrated. They’ve added to their team this season and we just can’t see Bolton getting any goals here.
