Miami Marlins at Cincinnati Reds Betting Tips:

CIN – Luke Weaver
Big win for the Reds last night, but I’m going back to the Marlins here for much of the same reasons.
Weaver has been bad all season and he has a 6.89 ERA/7.55 FIP over his last four starts.
Garrett has been good all season and has been rather unlucky of late with a 6.27 ERA/4.23 FIP over his last four starts. His strikeouts have been huge, but his BABIP and left-on-base percentage have been bringing him down. I’m willing to bet on a bounceback with the Reds offense struggling of late.

Chicago Cubs at New York Mets Betting Tips:
CHC – Jameson Taillon
NYM – Carlos Carrasco
Taillon has been dealing lately with a 2.82 ERA/3.81 FIP and the Mets aren’t very exciting on offense right now. They’ve hitting slightly better of late with a 104 wRC+ over the past two weeks, but are sitting at a 92 wRC+ over the past month.
Carrasco is an absolute mess right now with a 12.33 ERA/6.21 FIP over his last four starts. Low strikeouts, high walks, high home runs, and a high BABIP. Not good. The Cubs are one of the hottest offenses going with a 137 wRC+ over the past two weeks.

Los Angeles Dodgers at Arizona Diamondbacks Betting Tips:
LAD – Julio Urias
ARI – Brandon Pfaadt
The Dodgers have been playing well of late while the Diamondbacks are falling apart right before our eyes. They have just a 2-8 record over their last ten games and are falling out of the Wild Card race that once looked like it was theirs for the taking.
Things won’t get better tonight with Pfaadt on the mound. He’s a good prospect, but he’s allowed 3+ runs in seven of nine starts this season. Home runs have been a problem for him and the Dodgers hit them well. They have a 116 wRC+ against righties this season with great walks and power numbers.
Urias has been heating up of late if you ignore his one awful start against the Orioles. Outside of that, he’s allowed two runs or less in three of his last four games. He’s still not quite been himself, but not worse than this D-backs offense is playing right now. They have just an 87 wRC+ over the past month and a 70 wRC+ over the past two weeks.
