We’ve got another group of English Championship games taking place on December 11th, so we’ll tackle them again.
As a reminder, I’ve got tips up for the Championship games taking place on December 10th.

I won’t be doing any tips for it. Looking at Tuesdays games, I quite fancy Liverpool at 1.70. They’ll want to finish on top and should be up for it. Valencia have been quite solid this season in Europe and may be able to grab the draw against Ajax. 4.50 is some nice value there. Have a gut feeling Inter vs Barca goes to a draw too. Will probably do small plays on those.
Birmingham vs QPR Betting Tips:
This is one of those games that are extremely close but I think one team is going to just pip the other, and that team is Birmingham.
A lot of the metrics lead to the draw on this one, especially when it comes to applying the xPTs system to it. However I just think Birmingham will be able to do it here.
QPR have bounced back into a little bit of form and have racked up 2 games without a loss with a win over Preston and a draw at Derby. They’ve been average on the road however I like Birmingham at home more.
Birmingham play a more solid defensive game at home where they concede just 0.78 a game on average.
It’s a big game for both teams as it’s a chance to separate themselves and move closer to playoff spots. Birmingham were a bit lucky against Reading it has to be said but they are performing better under Pop Clotet and will come in on a high after that game.
QPR were able to win due to attacking inefficency from Preston. Despite Birminghams low scoring offense they know how to finish and against a team with as poor a defence as QPR I think they’ll be able to get the goals.

Derby vs Sheff Wed Betting Tips:
Went back and forth on this one. It’s an interesting game. Derby are a team who just cannot perform on the road. At home they have generally been excellent with a 5-4-1 record but they haven’t won at home since the opening game. Brutal.
They’re still making the best of it at home now. Sheffield Wednesday are on a nice little run and have moved into a playoff spot. Great performance by Steven Fletcher against Brentford.
I think this one will just be too much for Wednesday however and so my decision is whether Derby can pull off the win or whether Wednesday can get the goal to keep it at a draw.
I think Sheffield Wednesday are playing well enough that they should be able to.
I think the better bet will be BTTS.
