Welcome to the Sports Betting Tips for Friday, December 18th.

We’re all in the mood for some NHL action tonight and are going to tip all 6 games. It’s one of those nights where for whatever reason, every single game on the card is intriguing to us.

We’ve spent all morning discussing the games and at the end of it – yep, we just want to talk NHL today. So here’s the NHL Betting Tips for December 18th.

NHL Betting Tips:

Penguins vs Bruins: Quite the intense matchup between a Pittsburgh Penguins team who are really, really struggling on offense. Which is scary considering how stacked they are on offense. A coaching change hasn’t really helped them and we don’t think this is the game that WILL help them. The Bruins are a tough team on a roll and with Fleury out – the Penguins don’t know how to properly balance their team. We’re going to take the Bruins for the win tonight.

Capitals vs Lightning: The Washington Capitals have a history of not showing up when you’d expect them to – but surely they show up here. Against a depleted Lightning team struggling big time with injuries – you’d have to hope this would be a walk in the freaking park for them. We have to go with Capitals in regulation here and hope they don’t switch off tonight.

Panthers vs Hurricanes: An interesting matchup between two teams who are coming in on a bit of a roll. However we think this game is one too many for the Panthers in terms of winning streaks. The Carolina Hurricanes are better than their 12-14-5 record suggests and we think this is a very winnable game for the Canes.

Sharks vs Senators: The Senators have Anderson back in net tonight and he has been leaky like crazy. Hammond isn’t in net and the whole reason they pulled Hammond in was because of Anderson leaking goals. One game isn’t going to change that and it’s a big mistake but one we’ll capitalize on. Take the Over in this one and expect a high scoring match up.

Canucks vs Red Wings: The Canucks are a poor, poor team at the moment and going up against a solid Detroit team isn’t going to help them out. The Canucks are 2-6-2 on their last 10 games and now they may be without Henrik Sedin? That’s not a good sign for the Vancouver Canucks. We’re going to recommend taking the Detroit Red Wings tonight and for extra value be sure to take them in regulation time. They played in October when Canucks were actually looking good and Wings won then – expect more of the same this fine evening.

Rangers vs Jets: The Rangers just can’t get back to their winning ways, and now they’re going against a Winnipeg team who beat them 4-1 in New York. The Jets are struggling a bit this season but are close to being over .500 which is the key. Lundqvist is in net though for the Rangers and that’s good to have him in. We think that after replacing Raanta the other night he will be out and ready and we will take the Rangers for the win.
