It was another profitable week in the F1 in Monaco. Checo didn’t work out for us, but man that No Safety Car at 5.50 was a nice one eh. Loved how it looked like the surest bet in the world, then the rain started and it was squeaky bum time.

I had a bunch of people ask me about it but just to clarify – I backed Sargeant to be the last classified driver, and he DID finish last, but it was a losing bet. Here’s why per the rules:

“”This includes retirement and classification markets, which are determined by the FIA rule stating that any car that completes 90% or more of the number of laps covered by the winner, will be recorded as a classified finisher.””

Magnussen didn’t finish, but he did complete over 90% of the laps so was considered last. Shitty that.

I’m going to be pretty quick here with the F1 Bets as it’s pretty darn late for me and I need sleep. Went to my friends for a “couple of beers” while we discuss the bets, next thing you know a bunch of people hear we are together and it results in a bit of a party. Luckily, we were able to spend a couple of hours going over F1 before all that happened.

Not a great race for bets honestly. Sportsbooks caught on quickly to the Sargeant last classified bet quickly, and his odds are unbettable.

Here’s what I’m backing:

– I debated a lot about Alonso. I’m wary of his car. Initially I wanted to back him to be on the podium, but I worry that either he ends up starting from the pits, or they just get him out there and hope he can manage it and able to rack up a few points without being competitive. Not the worst call. So decided not to bet him.

Then I was debating betting Lewis to win his group. 2.87 odds to beat Sainz, Perez and Alonso. Not the worst.

Buuuut if we’re going to bet that – I mean those are his main competitors. No offense to Norris and love that he got up there, but I don’t know if it can compete the whole race.

So I am actually going with 1/4u on Lewis without Verstappen to Win the Race @ 3.25 odds. Early on it was actually 3.75 that I liked a mot more obviously. But 3.25 is fine too. I wouldn’t go below 3.00.

I also have 3 more bets, but hey my Formula 1 bets are very profitable this season, so if you want them all, you can sign up at our Patreon. Only $11, no paying until end of June. So sign up and if we don’t make you money, cancel before the end of the month and not pay a penny!
