Tuesday, June 26th sees the final games of Group C take place with France vs Denmark and Australia vs Peru.

France go into this one having already qualified for the knockout stages. They’ll be looking to continue their winning run and top the group. They got here after a 2-1 victory over Australia and a 1-0 victory over Peru. Honestly both results were deserved by them even though they aren’t performing at their best.

Denmark go into this one just needing a draw. The only way they can be eliminated is if Australia beat Peru by a few goals. They withheld a surging Peru team to win 1-0 and take their chances, but had a poor performance against the Aussies drawing 1-1.

France vs Denmark Betting Odds:

France To Win: 2.25
Denmark To Win: 4.50

A 1 unit bet on France to win. Read my analysis below or bet it at https://www.Bovada.lv

France Analysis:

What really impresses me about France is what a great job Kante does. He does incredible in his role and makes sure the back line is never really u nder that much threat. He’s one of the stars of the World Cup for me honestly at this stage. He had 15 interceptions in the last game and his passing is a joy to behold.

If Pogba could get going this French team would be very dangerous.

The team itself isn’t the most convincing however and so far in their two performances they haven’t looked like a team deserving of going past the quarter finals.

Denmark Analysis:

Denmark are one of those teams that are a real head scratcher. I liked how they handled Peru – they knew they’d be up for it and sat back and waited their chance and waited them out. They probably could have played a bit more positively and passed the ball around more but that’s okay.

However that Australia game – man, that was annoying to watch. Denmark started brightly and were up 1-0 and looking good for more I felt. However then the Australia goal happened.

Conceding a goal is one thing but I think it’s the way it happened. To think you have gotten away with it, then VAR calls it back and gives the penalty – it just took them out of the game.

I see the same in hockey at times. A team scores a goal to tie it up or go ahead and then a coach challenge cancels the goal. Suddenly it’s like a big adrenaline dump for the team and they can’t get it back. Reminded me of that.

So I do think Denmark are better than what we’ve seen and deserve to go through. But I think their strategy for this one will be similar to Peru – sit back and pass to Eriksen.

France vs Denmark Betting Tips:

I’d like Under 2.5 in this one but at 1.44 odds that is not bettable. I don’t have the balls tob et Over 2.5 goals either. I’m going to do a small bet of 1 unit on France to win. I think they do have the quality, Denmark won’t trouble them offensively and France at that price are good enough to get the winning goal. Back this at https://www.Bovada.lv. I’m very close to doing 3 units on this one but holding myself back.
