This week on the PGA Tour we’ve got the Fortinent Championship. Formerly known as the Safeway Open.

It’s the beginning of the 2021/2022 PGA Tour season, and hopefully a better season for us!

I talked about it a few weeks ago – but we’re at about a 30u loss for 2021 so far. Which sounds bad but considering I’ve brought in 667u profit from when I started doing golf bets – not too bad at all.

The cash ratio was on point too at about 14.6% so far for the year – actually higher than normal. The only difference maker was my E/W cashes were getting in the Top 5 but not actually winning. All it takes is one or two of those to change it all around.

Variance in golf betting can be tough but it is what it is and I’ve had stretches like this before. We’re in it for the long haul.

Let’s get to it:

Bet Horse Racing - +£21,565.98 profit on £25/pt staking. Click for more details.

(Advertisement but we have tested it out and have been quite impressed with it)

Fortinet Championship Betting Tips:

Jon Rahm on paper should walk this course but 4/1 is beyond laughable. We only have nine of the top 50 here, so this really feels like a take a shot type course at a few dogs. Here’s what I’m going with:

$100 on Kevin Na To Win & E/W at 22/1

In some very fine form at the moment, and had finished in the top 10 here multiple times. Top 5 as well. Looking at the top guys he is the only one I really want to back.

$62.50 on Marc Leishman To Win & E/W at 50/1

Solid price for a talented golfer. 3rd place here a few years ago. Struggled a bit at the tail end of last year but a fresh start and he generally performs well at this type of year.

$50 on Chez Reavie To Win & E/W at 50/1

Someone who always makes the cut here and performed very well last year I think he will come in feeling confident.

$50 on Chad Ramey To Win & E/W at 100/1

Strong finish on the Korn Ferry and I feel his game is suited for this course.

$50 on Mito Pereira To Win & E/W at 66/1

Feel he also suits up well for this course and has played great lately.
