Well, back with another tournament, but this one’s a funny one. The Grand Slam of Darts is a new-ish tournmament, having had two years under its belt. But why is it funny? Well, we have both codes coming together with their best players taking on each other (minus Martin “Wolfie” Adams, but that’s a story for another day) in a league format, before moving on to the knockout stages. This year, for the first time, we have two women taking part, although they’ve been given perhaps the worst possible draws.
Anyway, we’ve got one selection for group winner, as we feel that because it’s over a short format, a lot of freak results can happen, so it’s hard to predict the outcomes of all the league games. But we think we’ve found value in our first tip of the tournament.
