The Alabama Crimson Tide are your 2016 College Football National Champions. It was a really fun game last night that had a really exciting fourth quarter. Which was very good for you if you took Clemson +6.5, but not so good if you laid the points with Alabama. The winner of this one wasn’t in doubt after Alabama pulled ahead 45-33, but that last touchdown from Clemson made sure they didn’t cover the spread. We say goodbye to the college football season for another eight months when I’m sure we’ll see Alabama back on top once again.

Tonight we turn our focus to the NBA and NHL. Last night we saw the Florida Panthers huge 12 game win streak finally come to an end as they lost 3-2. The streak got them to first place in the Atlantic Division and they look to get back on track later this week. Tonight we have a couple of nice games with the Predators taking on the Blackhawks in Chicago and a Devils-Blues game we like.

In NBA, the Bulls and Bucks continue their rivalry in Milwaukee and the Celtics take on the Knicks in New York. We also have the Cavs taking on the Mavericks in what could be one of the very last Lebron-Dirk match-ups.

NBA Betting Tips:

The Boston Celtics have really been struggling lately, losing five of their past six. They’ve been close in nearly every game, but losses to both the Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers over that span are troubling to say the least. Luckily, they play the Knicks who they have owned over the past couple of seasons. They haven’t lost to them since 2014 and I think tonight should continue that trend. The Celtics PK is the play tonight as the coaching gap will play a big factor in this one.

Chicago and Milwaukee had a great playoff series last season, but that was then and this is now. The Bulls have remained one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference while the Bucks are going through some hard growing pains. It remains to be seen if their core can actually play together and the Bulls -3 tonight is a strong play.

The Cavs are currently riding a six game win streak and I’m riding it. It seems like Lebron teams have a 10+ game winning streak every season and you just have to go with it. Cavs -6

NHL Betting Tips:

With the Panthers falling last night, the Blackhawks are now the hottest team in the NHL with a current seven game win streak. They are hosting the Predators tonight who are currently losers of three straight. Because of those facts, the Blackhawks -140 is a steal tonight. Ride the streaks.

The Devils and Blues game tonight might not be pretty with both teams being pretty banged up as of late, but with the total set at just 4.5 goals we are all over this one. It doesn’t really matter who is playing, that line will always look juicy. The Devils are starting Kinkaid in goal which should work in the Blues favor. I am just expecting some scoring in this one and over 4.5 goals is the strong play.
