Tonight we have one of the most anticipated match-ups of the season and a potential Finals match-up as the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the San Antonio Spurs on national television. With so much attention on the Warriors early run, it’s been easy to forget just how great the Spurs have been. They are only three games behind Golden State in the loss column and currently hold the best point differential in the NBA at 14.1. Take away the Warriors amazing start and it’s the Spurs who just may be the best team in the NBA. Kawhi Leonard MVP, anyone?

The other team with single digit losses besides the two West juggernauts is, of course, the Cleveland Cavaliers. Lebron James, Kevin Love and company look poised for another run to the Finals and there is no one in the Eastern Conference who looks capable of stopping them. Cleveland is currently on an 8-game winning streak and is currently playing some of their best ball of the season so tonight should be a good one.

We also have a full slate of NHL games that we’ll be getting to highlighted by tonight’s big Montreal Canadiens and Chicago Blackhawks game. Tonight should be a really fun night.

NBA Betting Tips:

Despite being one of the best teams in the NBA and in the midst of an 8-game winning streak, the Cavaliers open the game against the Spurs as five and a half point underdogs. That’s because the Spurs may actually be the hottest team in the NBA as they are one a 9-game winning streak. One of those two teams will have their winning streak end tonight and I can’t help but think it will be the Cavs. This is the fifth game of a six game road trip for them and that’s when things can get messy. Kawhi Leonard does better than anyone guarding Lebron James and the road is hard. Spurs -5.5 is the play.

The Orlando Magic have been better than expected thus far this season, but they aren’t quite to the level of the Toronto Raptors yet. They play hard and this could be a very fun game, but the Raptors are taking this one. I think both teams will bring their A-game for the London crowd and that means Raps -4 is a winner.

NHL Betting Tips:

The Chicago Blackhawks are in the midst of an eight game winning streak right now and face their toughest test yet as they play the Canadiens in Montreal tonight. The Blackhawks opened this one as favorites, but have dipped to a slight underdog. Don’t let the line move fool you. This is one of the hottest and best teams in the league right now and it’s going to be very hard for the Canadiens to stop them tonight. Especially with the way they have been playing without Price. Blackhawks +111 is a steal here.

Another team that is absolutely killing it right now is the Washington Capitals. They’ve won 10 of their past 12 games and they’ve sent the total over in five of their past seven. They are simply a winning and scoring machine right now and the Washington/Vancouver game tonight should go Over 5 goals.
