The Warriors are awakened. They grabbed another win last night on TNT and have now won six straight. The team is playing together and Stephen Curry is hitting the crazy threes that have become his trademark. They absolutely rocked the Nuggets on Tuesday and now see themselves back in first place in the Western Conference. I have a feeling they are unlikely to relinquish that this season.

As good as they’ve been, they can’t touch James Harden right now. His team is absolutely ravaged with injuries and he is doing it all. He’s scored 50 points in back-to-back games and has scored 30 points in 18 consecutive games. The all-time record is 23 and was set way back in 1964. This means he’s surpassed Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant in this category, and I think he belongs in that discussion of pure scoring shooting guards. It might not always be pretty the way he does it, but there is no denying this guy is doing something special right now. It’s what Russell Westbrook did two seasons ago when he won the MVP, but way more efficient and way more impressive.

Both of those teams are off tonight, but there is still plenty of action tonight. The NBA will travel to London for a game today between the Knicks and Wizards. Does the league office have something against the UK? This is not what I’d call a good representation of the game.

NHL Betting Tips:

Chicago Blackhawks vs. New York Rangers: This should be a fun one. Both of these teams are allowing over 3.5 goals per game and the Rangers have scored 11 goals over their past two games. The Blackhawks have a dangerous offense despite their struggles as Patrick Kane is having a great year. It’s hard not to see this one going over the posted total.

NBA Betting Tips:

Philadelphia 76ers vs Indiana Pacers: A big match-up between two strong Eastern Conference teams tonight as the Philadelphia 76ers take on the Indiana Pacers. The Sixers have been playing really great basketball of late, but the Pacers have been very good at home this season. The Pacers have a 15-5 record at home this season and that is hard to overlook here. While the 76ers are just 8-14 against the spread as a road team this season. This game will be on national television, one of the few for Indiana this year, and I think they will try and make a statement here. They are one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference and I think they’ll try to show it.

Bet Pacers -2.5

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder: The Thunder defense has really been struggling of late as they’ve allowed 112 or more in their past five games. That has caused them to drop four of their past five. While I don’t have a ton of faith in the Lakers without LeBron, the Thunder don’t really deserve to be giving up ten points against anyone right now. I think the Lakers can keep up.
