Los Angeles Lakers at Philadelphia 76ers Betting Tips:
The Lakers finally have Anthony Davis back which should be good news for them going forward. They have weathered the storm without him and now sit at 24-24, currently 9th in the Western Conference. Davis is on a minutes restriction and tonight he faces a very tough test in Joel Embiid.
Philly hasn’t exactly been dominant at home, but they have won three of their last four there. The Lakers are 9-12 on the road this season.
The 76ers will be without Seth Curry and Danny Green tonight which really takes away from their three-point shooting. That should mean big minutes for Tyrese Maxey who has done well with that extra time over his past few starts.
I was leaning the Sixers here and then as I was writing this LeBron James was downgraded to questionable for tonight’s game. That moved the line quite a bit in the Sixers favor, but not enough to scare me away. Embiid will be the best player on the floor tonight and with Davis on a minutes restriction, I don’t see the Lakers doing all that well.

I also like the under in this game. The Sixers without their two best three-point shooters will struggle to do what they usually do and I can see their total going lower than usual. Their bench isn’t all that deep so we’re looking at big minutes from key players here. This will be a game with a lot of Embiid and as we all know, two points down low are worth less than three points from deep.
The Lakers will take a hit without LeBron and the Davis minutes restriction will also hurt. This could be a Monk/Westbrook show, but I’m willing to bet against them going off in any major way.

Minnesota Timberwolves at Golden State Warriors Betting Tips:
The Wolves beat the Warriors about ten days ago, but they are a pretty sizable underdog here. What gives? Well, that last game was played without Stephen Curry and this one will be. That’s what.
That said, I think the Wolves have a good chance of making this game competitive. The Warriors without Draymond Green are dangerous, but a match-up like this with a talented big man is trouble for them.
Karl-Anthony Towns is playing some of the best basketball of his career right now and Anthony Edwards is not afraid to go right at anyone. They have a good nucleus and are playing solid basketball of late, winning three of their past four games.
The Warriors offense is always a threat to go off, of course, but for this match-up I think that the Wolves can at least hang in there and make it a close one.

Loyola Chicago, remember them? Yeah, they’re still pretty good and likely to be in the tournament again this year.
They have a 15-3 record on the season and face Southern Illinois tonight, a team they have absolutely owned of late. They’ve won their last four against them, all by eight points or more, and tonight they should easily make it five.

Purdue at Iowa Betting Tips:
The Big Ten is good this season and every game matters. Right now Purdue is ranked #6 with Iowa unranked, but just two wins separate the teams and I think we could see an upset tonight.
Iowa has taken care of business at home this year with six straight home wins, including a big one over Indiana. I mention Indiana there because Purdue just lost to them on the road.
These two teams did play earlier this season with Purdue winning by seven at home, but that one saw a pretty abysmal first half performance from Iowa. They played much better in the second half and should be able to bring that energy at home here.
