The NBA is in full swing tonight with four games on the slate. The highlight of the night is probably the game between Eastern Conference Finals and a rematch of last year’s playoffs in Chicago as the Bulls host the Milwaukee Bucks. This series got really heated and personal as it stretched to seven games last season and we could see some of that carry over into tonight. This season hasn’t quite gone as the Milwaukee Bucks expected it to, but they are still a tough team to play night in and night out. Just ask the Golden State Warriors who had their undefeated streak to start the season snapped by them.

Speaking of the Warriors, they are also in action tonight against the Los Angeles Lakers. They are huge favorites tonight and should win this one handily. There aren’t two teams in the NBA who are on a more different path than these two. The Warriors are in the middle of a potential dynasty and the Lakers are in the middle of a long, painful rebuild. This won’t be pretty and I wouldn’t expect to see the Warriors starters in the fourth quarter.

We also have a full slate of NHL action today with some really great match-ups on the slate. Philly and Montreal, Stars versus Rangers, Chicago and Pittsburgh, and Washington versus Boston are just a few of the great matches tonight. We’ll try to keep eyes on all of them tonight.

NHL Betting Tips:

If you’re looking for a game with great superstars and awesome scoring potential, look no further than the Chicago Blackhawks taking on the Pittsburgh Penguins. The big match-up on paper here is Patrick Kane going against Sidney Crosby. Kane has just done amazing things thus far this season and Sidney Crosby is Sidney Crosby. He’s started to come into his own as of late with five goals in his past five games and is starting to look like the guy he’s always been. Both of these offenses have been hot lately and I’m expecting them to keep going that way. Over 5 goals is the play here.

Speaking of scoring, two of the top four scoring teams in hockey will also go at it tonight when the Dallas Stars and New York Rangers go at it in New York. Both of these teams come into this one on a little bit of a cold streak so expect both to go all out in this one. These are two of the top scoring teams and I expect them to do what they’re good at and send this one over 5.5. goals.

NBA Betting Tips:

Warriors -14 on the road would’ve seemed like a crazy bet two seasons ago. Now? It seems low. Give me this number against the Lakers all day.

The Bucks and Bulls were both known for their defense a year ago, but the Bucks have lost it a bit this season. It’s appeared in stretches, but the switch from Zaza Pachulia to Greg Monroe has been surprisingly painful on defense. They’ll figure it out, but they have seen quite an uptick in offense and Giannis looks like a future superstar. I expect them to play the Bulls tough tonight as the Bulls offense has had it’s own struggles this season. Eight points seems like a lot for a team that matches up so well with them. We’re taking Bucks +8 here and hoping the good version of Milwaukee shows up.
