A 2-0 record yesterday.
We took the over in Werder Bremen vs. Eintracht Frankfurt and Frankfurt did all the heavy lifting for us in the 3-0 win. Stefan Ilsanker scored two goals in this one so cheers to him for getting us there.
We also took the win in AEW betting on the chalk/favourites parlay. It wasn’t a great odds on that one, but wrestling when done well can be very predictable so that worked out for us in the money department.
Speaking of professional wrestling, I’ll be recording an episode of the Going Over: Bet Pro Wrestling Podcast later today with the Scotsman covering this weekend’s NXT: TakeOver. The show has a lot of chalk on it, but we should be able to find a couple of good betting options as we always do and the show is sure to be a lot of fun. Check it out wherever you get your podcasts.
Yesterday we got news of the NBA’s return to play plans. It is complicated, but it will get us there. The NBA is inviting all the teams that are at least six games out of eight place in their conferences. The teams will then play an 8-game schedule before a possible play-in tournament. The play-in tournament, if necessary, will include the No. 8 and No. 9 teams, but only if the ninth seed finishes the regular season within four games of the eighth. It will then be a three-game “series” where the No. 9 team needs to win twice to advance. The No. 8 team only needs to win once.
Teams are expected to begin training in July so we should be seeing them return to play by later that month or August. The league has instituted a number of coronavirus protections including daily testing. It will be good to see them come back and I think the ratings will be through the roof for this. It’s great that we get to see Zion Williamson and the Pelicans in this scenario without them just stealing the playoff spot from Memphis. That could be a fun race in the limited schedule, but both team’s schedule is going to be a nightmare with only the 22 best teams in the league to play against.

Bundesliga Betting Tips:
This match takes place on June 5th.
Freiburg vs Monchengladbach: Monchengladbach is coming off a 4-1 win and looking to continue on that. I like their match-up with Freiburg here who have really struggled since the restart. They have a chance to move up, but I just don’t see them interested or having the drive to do so. While Monchengladbach seems fully motivated to grab a spot in the Champions League and I think they can get the win here.
Overwatch Betting Tips:
Square One vs. Saints: I admit I don’t know much about this league, but Square One recently announced a new roster and are a big favorite here. This is early in this event and I think they could be a good play here on the spread. They are a -190 favorite here, but the real value is in the spread.
