Don’t worry – while we are providing tips every day here at SBT on the Cheltenham Festival, we haven’t forgotten all of the other sports going on!

We would highly recommend following our Cheltenham tips however. Scott is an absolute expert when it comes to the horse racing and has an absolute ton of experience. Last year we got 6 out of 7 right in one day for those who remember – and it was a massive cash there.

It’s Wednesday and of course that means we focus on the golf, just as we do every week.

Hopefully all of you followed my tips last week, because we got a whopping 40/1 winner with Scott Hend taking down the True Thailand Classic.

Here’s the betting slip proving that:

Nice one. Let’s get to this weeks golf:

March 16th Golf Betting Tips:

First up in the Arnold Palmer Invitational we’re going to be backing Matt Every. Throwing money away because NO WAY he wins for a third time in a row but man – imagine he did and we didn’t back him? We’d feel foolish.

We’re also on Scott Brown who has did well at this course before and is coming into this with some solid form. This is an iffy one where you might want to play the safer bet of him to finish in the Top 10 which is 10/1 odds and a more appealing bet. Don’t know if he has what it takes to crack that top 5.

Jason Kokrak has performed well here and we’re going to back him. While he hasn’t been playing well lately his past performances warrant a small bet.

Finally for this tournament we’ll take Stenson to win, and are going to back him E/W as the odds just seem good enough.

All of the above you will bet to win and E/W so you get money if they make the top 5.

Next is the Hero Indian Open and this is a more tricky one. I’ll be honest I’m placing 5 small bets on 5 guys who I think can run it close and basically just be there to provide something entertaining to watch. I’m not rocking with confidence that these guys will do any good. We’re going with:

  1. Anirban Lahiri
  2. Prayad Marksaeng
  3. Siddikur Rahman
  4. Chiragh Kumar
  5. Mithun Perera

Next is the JTBC Founders cup and we’re only betting two people. First up is Stacy Lewis who I’m going to bet straight up to win. She’s came close this season and has to be a solid contender while Ko struggles. Finally the long shot bet on Pornanong Phatlum and of course take each way as well.

Tucson Conquistadores Classic is a bit of a crap shoot at the moment in terms of just coming off the Champions Tour. I’m going for two long shot bets of the 40/1 West Short Jr. and the 110/1 Scott Hoch.

Not expecting too much this week – my main confidence is in the Arnold Palmer but hopefully we’ll get a few surprises.
