What a great day it was yesterday in the Champions League thanks purely due to one specific game.

We went 1-1 with the betting tips. We had Dortmund to beat Tottenham. That didn’t come in and props to Spurs for the result. I’ll be honest most of my focus was on the Madrid vs Ajax game but from what I saw Dortmund did dominate and were unlucky things didn’t go their way.

What about that Madrid vs Ajax game though? Since when has a thrashing been so bloody thrilling to watch? We had over 3.5 goals in that one and it came in with ease with Ajax putting up 4 by their own.

Boy was that fun to watch.

For Wednesday, March 6th 2019 we’ve got two more second legs in the Champions League.

FC Porto take on Roma and Paris Saint-Germain take on Manchester United.

Let’s have a look at both games:

PSG vs Man Utd Betting Tips:

PSG won the first leg 2-0 in Manchester. It was a solid performance by PSG and Man Utd could barely trouble the goalkeeper.

The second leg promises to be an interesting one. The big story going into is that Man Utd are traveling with 6 teenagers and 8 academy graduates. Going to be interesting seeing how they line up in this one.

I’d like to think that they just go for it – they’ve got nothing to lose so why not? But then the last thing you want is a hiding as well to hurt the confidence.

PSG don’t really need to do much this game of course – just sit back and counter attack. However after the Ajax vs Real Madrid game yesterday it should remind them they can’t be complacent.

Small bet on PSG doing a professional job.

Porto vs Roma Betting Tips:

Roma won the first leg 2-1. All of the goals took place in the 70-80 minute mark with Zaniolo scoring twice before Adrian Lopez got that key away goal for Porto.

It was an interesting game with Roma getting 14 shots – 9 on target – while allowing Porto to have 58% of the possesion.

It’s an intriguing game as Roma are NOT a good team away. Their record in Serie A is 5 wins, 4 draws and 5 losses out of 14 games. Porto meanwhile are a beast at home with 10 wins out of 12 appearances.

It’s always risky betting on games at this stage because you never know if it is going to be a tight affair. One team will always be tightening up defensively. But the stats suggest this one is good for a few goals.
