First up I’ve decided to just leave the xPTS Betting System Picks as is rather than look back. It just may have an asterisk beside it noting that it was post international break.

Yesterday was a dud in Euro 2020 unfortunately. We had Bosnia to win and Greece pulled off a surprise 2-1 victory thanks to an own goal in the 88th minute. To be fair though Greece were all bloody over them. They were one motivated team playing for pride.

We also had Finland/Armenia BTTS. Finland won 3-0 there although Armenia were quite unlucky to score. After a solid Monday, it was a disappointing end to Euro 2020.

On the brighter front I finally got around to tallying up the September stats. That Washington trip at the beginning of the month really threw me off. That’s a task I am to do the first of the month and only got to it yesterday. Anyway it was worth the wait as it was a +20.21 profit month.

Yet another month where the actual picks percentage lost though. I took the time to tally up the stats since I started doing tips and the record is a hilarious 305-382, but for 66.26 units profit.

While I’m happy there is profit, I really do need to tighten things up a bit with some of those smaller unit bets. I’ll be spending time looking into that over the next little while.

We have MLS action this weekend with the playoffs and I am stupidly excited about it. I’ve been covering the MLS a lot over the second half of the season and I’ve been getting geared up for these. Let’s have fun and go through each game:

Atlanta United vs New England Revolution: Atlanta finished 2nd in the Eastern Conference as they look to repeat. Atlanta beat them 3-1 in the last game of the season and will look to continue that. I Just can’t see past Atlanta here. 2u on Atlanta -1 at 2.10 odds.

Seattle vs Dallas: Seattle were 2nd and Dallas 7th. Dallas had one of the poorest forms on the road and made the playoffs due to excellent home form. Dallas scraped in here on the last day so anything is a bonus. Gotta think Seattle take this. I’d be quite shocked if they don’t 3u on Seattle at 1.75 odds. Only concern is if the young Dallas team just goes balls to the walls not feeling any pressure.

Toronto vs DC United: Both teams ended up on 50 points. Toronto got there with that win over Columbus thanks to Alejandro Pozuelo and they had a good run to end the season. This could be a tight game. 1u on Under 2.5 goals in 90 minutes at 2.30 odds.

Real Salt Lake vs Portland Timbers: I think Portland can make a game of this. They are a solid team. 1u on the Draw after 90 minutes. 3.75 odds.

Philadelphia Union vs New York Red Bulls: Philly come in on a disappointing run. They haven’t got past the first round yet. Red Bulls are an interesting team as they have poor form coming into this but can they surprise? Small play on the upset. 1u on Red Bulls to qualify at 2.37 odds.

Minnesota United vs LA Galaxy: Can Zlatan Ibrahimovic step up when it counts? Galaxy have a lot of issues and it’s not just him that needs to step up – the entire team does. Their defense has been brutal. 1u on Over 3.5 Goals. 2.20 odds.
