Gotta love the European season of F1!

This week we have one of my favourite tracks in Monaco. The practise is actually on Thursday – for those wondering the details, it’s pretty crazy. The aim is for them to open up the roads again Friday for the market – although these days, the GP2 cars will run on Friday.

This is part of the Motorsport Triple Crown – Indy and Le Mans take place over the next few weeks – and this is of course the best time to be a fan of the good old motor racing.

Monaco will be interesting, because the main advantage of Mercedes is – well not nullified, but negated here. This is of course due to the circuit setup – there’s no real straight here, and a lot of tight corners. Skill usually dominates here – but Mercedes is still so far ahead of everyone else that our computer system is still leaning towards Mercedes to take the race.

So with that, let’s get on with the F1 Betting Tips for the Mercedes Grand Prix. Oops – I meant the Monaco Grand Prix – but I’m leaving the typo in because the way the F1 has been every Grand Prix might as well be the Mercedes Grand Prix!

F1 Monaco Grand Prix Betting Tips Winner: Lewis Hamilton

What can we say here? You’ve for the best car, you’ve got the best driver – and he’s in the form of his life. He’s just having an incredible season.

With Hamilton being favoured every race we always try our best to find reasons to bet against him – to find value on someone else. But honestly that’s just throwing money away. Back Hamilton at https://www.Bovada.lv for 8/11 odds.

F1 Monaco Grand Prix Betting Tips: Vettel Podium Finish

A nice price on Sebastian Vettel to hit the podium finish at 11/10 odds.

This is a bit of a tight one between Vettel and Ricciardo at the exact same odds. The chassis obviously helped Vettel during the Spanish Grand Prix, but the rest of the car falling to bits beforehand made the podium a bit tricky.

Red Bull are obviously the second fastest car – and I can’t wait to see F1 in Canada as that’s when we’ll see the engine turned up to full power. Going to go with Vettel over Ricciardo for the podium finish due to both experience, and a better record of 5 points finishes versus 3 DNFs.

F1 Monaco Grand Prix Betting Tips: Jenson Button Top 6

McLaren has been quite disappointing this year – but I think they have a good chance in Monaco, and our computer simulation agrees. Monaco leaves no room for error as I’m sure you know – and with this years cars being extra twitchy I expect a high number of retirements and safety cars.

With that in mind, the reliable Jenson Button is nice value at 15/8 to get in the top 6 as he’ll make the best of any adverse conditions.

In addition to that, with the barriers being close and Pastor Maldonando starting – go for the unders.
