Welcome to the Sports Betting Tips for Wednesday, December 9th.

Can’t believe we are those close to Christmas. Scary how fast the time goes.

Let’s get to the free sports betting tips for today:

NHL Betting Tips – December 9th, 2015:

Montreal Canadiens vs Boston Bruins: You have to go back 8 games ago to the last time the Bruins beat the Habs. However this is a real tight game and Montreal have had two losses recently. The Bruins though after their showing against Nashville? I like it to be 9 games you have to go back. A rested Habs team should have no problem taking out the Bruins tonight, and there’s a nice price for it too.

Edmonton Oilers vs San Jose Sharks: I’m quite happy to roll with the Edmonton Oilers at the moment. Are they the better team? Not by a long shot. But you’ve got a team who have had a few injuries – including the McDavid one – yet have managed to rise above that. You’ve got a team who have confidence in their goalie for the first time in forever. Going against a tired Sharks team who got thumped by the Flames last night. I never thought I’d say this next sentence in my lifetime but here it is. Tonight should be an easy win for the Edmonton Oilers.

New York Rangers vs Vancouver Canucks: Both teams are coming off two dominant, big ones after some struggles lately. This is a tight game and I like Canucks to play to the level of the Rangers with a little bit of confidence in the team now they got their win. I think Over 5 goals is a good price and I’m happy with going on that tonight.

Pittsburgh Penguins vs Colorado Avalanche: My reasoning is weak for this one but I think it does have merit – I can’t see the Penguins losing a 3rd game in a row. It’s not been a good road trip recently but I think they can write the ship against the Avs. LeTang has been missing which is obviously huge and he may be back tonight.

NBA Betting Tips – December 9th, 2015

We’re going to take Orlando Magic +4.5 as they take on the Phoenix Suns. The Magic are playing quite the interesting way at the moment – it isn’t always pretty, but man it has been effective. Seeing a lot of good chemistry with the team as well and that’s always nice. If they could get the 3pters going in better that’d be even better.

Wall is back for the Wizards but we’re not too concerned and will take Rockets +3.5. Crazy Wall is back so soon – but it’s a credit to his character. Despite that the Rockets have been looking great especially with Beverley in the line-up. Not sure Howards status yet but I don’t think it fully matters.

And finally we’ll take Bucks +5.5. Paul and Redick both looked rusty and we think they will still be rusty for this one. Paul especially we just don’t think he’s fully fit yet.
