Premier League Darts is back for another year and they’ve tried to come up with a new and exciting format. It’s now 10 players playing Best of 12 matches instead of the old 8 players doing their thing over the Best of 14. Harder matches to predict, more action. Whatever floats your boat.

Andy Hamilton Vs Robert Thornton.
Robert Thornton makes his Premier League debut against the man who made his debut this time last year. Big match for both men, they’re both power scorers when they get in amongst it, and this is going to be tight.

Another debutant, Wes Newton, taking on Premier League stalwart James Wade. Again, both men will want a good performance, Newton to make an impression and Wade to show that he’s back to some kind of form.

Another two stalwarts of the Premier League, and again, two men with a point to prove. Barney looks to be back to some kind of form, as long as he’s not let Taylor get into his head too badly, and Anderson was power scoring with the best of them during the World Championship.

Simon Whitlock Vs Adrian Lewis.
Another match we’ve seen time and time again in the Premier League, and Lewis is coming in on the back of a win at the World Cup. Whitlock is playing solid darts, Lewis never seems to like the Premier League, especially the early fixtures, the Aussie’s the shout here.

Last match, the match we all want to see. The rematch of the 2013 PDC World Championship Final should be a classic, and it could go either way. The Dutch star has thrived over the short format in floor tournaments, his price is too big, let’s get involved. Plus, Taylor can be a very slow starter in the Premier League.
