The UEFA Champions League final takes place on Sunday, August 23rd and hopefully we’ll have better luck there than in that Sevilla vs Inter Milan game.

Took Inter there but they just couldn’t stop Sevilla from scoring. Sevilla had their finishing game on in that one and there was nothing Inter could do.

So we have the UEFA Champions League final with PSG taking on Bayern Munich.

PSG have the only blemishes going into this one with a 2-2 draw against Real Madrid and a loss against Dortmund.

Post pandemic world PSG didn’t show much rustiness. They were slow of course to take advantage of Atalanta however managed to do the job and then had no worries as they beat RB Leipzig 3-0.

If any team deserves to win the Champons League it is probably Bayern Munich. A 100% record throughout the entire campaign with so many bodies among the way. 7-2 win over Spurs, 7-1 aggregate victory over Chelsea, and of course THAT Bayern Munich match.

Then a beautiful stifling of Lyon.

This is of course the reason PSG are here and why their team has had so much invested in them – the Champions League is their holy grail.

It’s funny because Bayern are so great right now you actually forget that they were struggling early on in the league and sacked their manager. Feels like light years away.

There’s a couple of minor injury concerns but nothing too major. Navas should be back as well.

I’m going to do two bets for this one. You’ve got to think regardless of the defensive abilities of both of these teams that the goals come in. I also can’t get off Bayern – to me they are the most deserving. I honestly don’t know if they’re value here but when it comes to big games like the Champions League – you’re not going to find as much value compared to other betting tips I’ll make.

I’m making personal bets on Bayern Munich to win at 2.05 odds and Over 3.5 Goals at 2.00 odds. I’ll probably just do 1u on them. It’s always funny as these games do massive money at the bookies yet from a value perspective there really isn’t that much. It’s more just adding some fun to it.
