Welcome to the sports betting tips for March 4th, 2015.
First of all – we know everyone is looking for the golf betting tips. All of the tournaments kick off tomorrow, and we’ll have tips later tonight. Be sure to check the website tonight for that.
I hope you all got on our LPGA Betting Tips because that was INCREDIBLE – we had an 18/1 winner AND a 100/1 2nd place. As we bet Top 5 E/W then that was a HUGE cash for us, and a great week. That was our first LPGA Betting of the season as well – let’s hope for more of that action eh?
We’re also all geared up for next week for the big event in the UK – Cheltenham! It begins March 10th and we’re all very excited about that. Big week in sports coming up actually as you have Cheltenham, UEFA Champions League, PGA, European Tour, One FC, UFC 185, and of course the return of the Formula 1. Not to mention all the other things going on such as NBA, NHL, EPL etc. Big big time to be a sports fan. And then March Madness starts as well very soon.
For today, March 4th let’s see what we got:
NHL Betting Tips:
Senators vs Jets: They’ve played once this season, with the Jets winning 2-1 back in November. Ottawa are given a boost with Craig Anderson apparently returning tonight. However they’ve got a sick ratio of about 1.18 goals against in their last 6 games. They had that tough loss against the Wild and I think that’s going to hurt their morale.
Honestly not starting Hammond is probably a mistake in that one. We’ll take the Jets in regulation at 1.95 odds.
Rangers vs Red Wings: Zetterberg could be back. Rangers come into this one with a lot of good wins lately. Red Wings as well – although they’ve had a lot of struggles lately. We’re going to go with the New York Rangers – it’s a tight battle and we like the underdogs in this situation.
Penguins vs Avalanche: A tricky game. We’re looking more at the overs/unders on this one. The last 3 games between the teams have been Under, but both teams are having some really high scoring games lately. The main deciding factor is the odds honestly – Over 5.5 goals is 2.05 odds and that is a nice price. It’s just enough for us to take that bet.
Canadiens vs Ducks: Interesting one. Habs nice and rested going against the Ducks who are looking good and motivated. Ducks are really clicking at the moment and feeling confident. The line for this one has the Ducks as decent favourites and I can see why. Last time these two teams played, Ducks won 2-1 and that was in December. Ducks are on a nice roll with big wins over the Kings and the Stars and they’ve got another big game against the Penguins. Montreal are coming off that thumping by the Sharks but before then they were dominating with some big wins.
Have to take the Anaheim Ducks.
