Georgia vs. Clemson Betting Tips:
This is by far the biggest match-up of the day as the #3 Clemson takes on #5 Georgia. It’s rare to see a game with playoff implications this early in the season so this should be a good one.
The real question of this one is: how does Clemson do in life after Trevor Lawrence? D.J. Uiagalelei looks poised to take the reigns and this team has some great young wideouts who could shine today.
Georgia is all about the run game, but the offensive line might not be able to handle what Clemson is going to throw at them. They are agressive, quick, and dangerous in the front seven and I think they can make a long day for the running game as well as QB JT Daniels.

LSU at UCLA Betting Tips:
The Bears are coming off a big win against Hawaii, but there is a huge difference between Hawaii and an SEC powerhouse.
I think the LSU defense will do well stopping the run that went wild against Hawaii and the secondary could cause problems for Dorian Thompson-Robinson.
There is some doubts about sophomore QB Max Johnson making his first start, but I don’t think he would be making the start unless they thought he could handle it. Sometimes the media overhypes things like this.
It is cheap enough to go with the moneyline here instead of laying the points so that’s what we will do.

Lopez has only made a few starts this year, but he’s looing good and I trust the bullpen behind him quite a bit. They have a 77 wRC+ over the past two weeks. They are facing the Royals who have a 85 wRC+ against righties on the season.
The White Sox are facing a lefty here and they have a 112 wRC+ against them on the season. Easy pick for me.

German Marquez is having a great season, but I don’t trust his offense (76 wRC+ against righties) or his bullpen (105 FIP-) on the season. This is an incredibly tough match-up against the Braves. The ball flies in this park and they have a 111 ISO+ on the season.
Ian Anderson is a solid lefty and draws a nice match-up here.

The margins on pretty thin on this one, but I’m looking at this Astros offense and I’m all over it.
Musgrove is very good, but the Astros have a huge 117 wRC+ against righties. The bullpen behind him is really struggling of late with a 119 FIP- over the last two weeks.
Framber Valdez faces the Padres who have a 94 wRC+ against lefties on the year. The thing that really swung this one for me is the Padres offense over the past two weeks. They have just a 60 wRC+. Things are not going well for them right now.
