The next big European League is returning with the Spanish La Liga restarting on Thursday, June 11th.

It features just the one match that I am sure everyone will be glued to which is Sevilla vs Real Betis.

Following on from that we’ve got games every single bloody day! I haven’t looked into it to see if they are keeping that schedule or what but I really hope so.

Bad news guys looks like you’re stuck with me giving betting tips every single day again!

Of course I won’t have tips every day – some days I may just throw in some analysis of the games and not actually have tips. We’ll see how it goes.

With all that said let’s get on with looking at the first La Liga game back since COVID-19 started which is Sevilla vs Real Betis.

Sevilla vs Real Betis Betting Tips:

Prior to the pandemic and shuy down, Sevilla had went 4 games undefeated. Real Betis had just ended a 6 game run without winning with a big 2-1 win over Real Madrid. What a brutal time for things to end for them.

Sevilla are at “home” in this game. They have a 6-5-2 record while Betis have a brutal away record of 1-6-6. However as we have learned from the Bundesliga – home versus away doesn’t really have the same effect.

Sevilla are currently third in the league. Top 4 qualify for the Champions League and the top 2 spots are of course already taken. Just 2 points separate 3rd through 6th with Valencia also hanging about there however so it’s rather tight at the top.

Both teams have very similar offenses in terms of goalscoring. Betis have a brutal defense though that has been the cause of their downfall this season. They’re mid-table and safe from relegation it appears. They could theoretically make a push for a European spot too as they’re only 9 points out of that.

This is the biggest derby in Spain and it’s a shame there’ll be no crowd for it. I wonder how that will affect things. Probably just won’t give it that “edge”.

These two teams played earlier in the season and Real Betis came out 2-1 losers. Betis controlled the possession in that game but it wasn’t enough.

Manager wise I prefer Lopetegui at Sevilla over Rubi in terms of preparation for this match.

Sevilla are ranked 6th for xG this season with Betis just a little bit behind them. The difference again however there is xGA where Betis have a very high one.

Honestly I think we are getting a hell of a price on Sevilla at 1.85. Of course we don’t know what will affect things but I mean 1.85 odds is a steal considering the two teams abilities.

3u on Sevilla at 1.85 odds. I just don’t see any real reason not to back them. You can bet this at https://www.Bovada.lv
