The final games of Group B kick off on Monday, July 25th with Iran vs Porgual and Spain vs Morocco. In this article I’ll tackle Spain vs Morocco.

Morocco are the only team that are eliminated at this point. Spain meanwhile are top of the group, but not safe however a draw would be enough to see them through regardless of the Portugal/Iran result. So Morocco go into this one playing for pride, and Spain go into this one hoping for at least a draw to guarantee qualification.

Spain got off to an explosive start with a 3-3 draw against Ronaldo and the other 10 people he carries on his back. It was a double by Costa and a goal from Nacho that helped them out there. Costa was on the scoreboard again as they defeated a tricky Iranian team 1-0. Spain really struggled to break down their defense in that one which I correctly predicted – going with under 2.5 goals – and could not win by a bigger tally. In a group where goal difference could be the factor – that isn’t good.

Morocco started their campaign positively in the first half against Iran, however couldn’t get anything going in the final third of the pitch. Iran gained confidence in the game and managed to sneak it at the death with an own goal. In their next game CR7 scored almost immediately against them, and they were left chasing. They had 16 attempts and more possession and worked hard but things just wouldn’t go their way.

They’re playing for pride here.

Spain Betting Odds:

Spain Analysis:

Spain are a tricky team to really judge. I thought they were the better team against Portugal for sure and they showed their goalscoring prowess there, however it was a lot tighter in the match against Iran.

We’ll probably see a similar game and what we’re used to with Spain where they look to dominate the possession, pass the ball around a ridiculous amount and slowly probe away. They’re usually good at creating chances with that and while they’d for sure like to win, a draw will suit them fine so expect to see more possession and passing than usual.

Morocco Analysis:

Being eliminated already, Morocco will be a team full of disappointment and frustration. They’re very unlucky to have been eliminated with the performances they have put in.

The question is what they will bring to this game. I have to think not much. To go out in what was really an overall heartbreaking 180 minutes of football has to kill the mood in the camp, and the players will just look to see this one out.

Spain vs Morocco Betting Tips:

Morocco struggle to score and Spain will be happy with a draw or 1-0. I’m good to bet 3 units on Under 2.5 Goals at 1.85 odds. To be honest I’d do 5 units if not for the fact that Morocco might just completely give up and roll over. You can bet this at https://www.Bovada.lv.
