A disappointing 0-2 in the MLS on Wednesday.

We had NYC FC to win. They seemed off yesterday and their finishing was brutal. It all started well with a goal after 6 minutes but their usual excellent shot accuracy was non-existent with just 1 shot on target in 10 attempts. Toronto did a good job there and got a worthy draw.

Took a risky shot on Minnesota united to win at Houston. A big loss for Minnesota there as Houston Dynamo beat them 2-0. Very disappointing one that.

With the international break over, all of the regular football is back and that’s good news.

Today I am going to look at the Scottish Premiership games taking place this weekend. 4 games have taken place and Celtic are the only ones with a 100% record.

Hearts vs Motherwell Betting Tips:

Hearts are currently joint bottom of the SPL with St. Johnstone. They just drew 2-2 with Hamilton and really aren’t playing too well. Craig Levein is in trouble.

Motherwell defensively don’t look too shabby this season and I think Hearts will struggle to score against them.

Hearts have quite a few injury worries. They’re already missing the likes of Jamie Walker and Peter Haring. It’s too soon for John Souttar and Joel Pereira. Steven Naismith has picked up a knock and he might be out too.

In games like this I generally prefer the draw but I think Motherwell have what it takes so we’ll do a risky one. Hopefully they play that direct football that seems to be paying off for them.

Kilmarnock vs Hibs Betting Tips:

Hibs are 9th in the SPL and honestly are even lucky to be there. They have had a bit of good luck to open the season however that 3-0 thumping from Motherwell was well deserved. Now they go to play Kilmarnock who picked up their first win to lift them off bottom of the table, after a good 1-0 win over St Johnstone.

They were a tad lucky in that one that’s for sure. However so far they have looked okay this season and will be relishing this game against Hibs.

Paul Heckingbottom got a lot of deserved criticism after that game against Motherwell and it’s rumoured they will be changing their system for this game. Jason Naismith is expected to start for them which is good news as he is a solid defender.

Kilmarnock made a few signings on transfer deadline day so we could see the liks of Osman Sow and Stephen Hendrie take the pitch.

Either way Kilmarnock look like they are playing better, Hibs going downhill, and I like that trend to continue here.
